Clausen, Tebow Signed

Recommended Posts

Both announced that they were excited to hit the ground running and begin the long process of failing to live up to expectations.

In a sign of a brewing QB controversy in Denver, Brady Quinn held a press conference to announce that with his more traditional mechanics, experience in Cleveland, and background in a pro-style offense with NFL guru Charlie Weis, there is no way that Tebow can be a bigger disappointment than himself. "He's the biggest system quarterback since Alex Smith," Quinn told reporters. "He threw jump passes, for God's sake--how could anyone have any expectations for this guy to fail to live up to? I almost beat USC this one time."

For his part, Clausen is taking a more low-key approach in Carolina, quietly asking teammates when Army is scheduled to come in to town.
