In all I know hindsight is 20/20. But it really hurts to see so many damned starters picked AFTER this moronic reach of a pick. Especially when you see guys like Shonn Greene, Vollmer and Loadholt, all of whom fill areas of need for us. Dammit.

I understand the frustration Squintz but you can go back to any draft and look at the same thing. It's not just us who have missed on past picks. Part of the draft. Like New Era said shrug it off and look forward to what our team has for the future.

Actually, you can go back to just about any draft in this new era and find much, much better talent in most rounds. I'm actually suprised there wasn't better talent available. That draft sucked.

But I agree with others. Let it go. Let this one roll off your back. Something feels different now, we are going to win our share of games this year and it's just the start of things.

I know, I know - let it go. But the damn Shonn Greene thing will still piss me off because of all the hype leading up to it that we were targeting him.

I guess what frustrates me the most is that at the time, we all headscratched and pointed at players like Greene but continued to trust the 'professionals' to do their job. Because they're supposed to know more than we do. But too many times, they don't. They over-analyze and try to justify their capabilities by picking the next diamond-in-the-rough rather than going with the pick that makes too much sense.

Hell, I haven't even begun to mention passing on Maualuga for a possession receiver from this draft...

You can drive yourself nuts looking at who we passed on- every team makes mistakes- the bottom feeders just make more mistakes than the top teams..... Every freaking team in the league passed on Joe Montana.

Get your barf bag handy- here's why the Browns have stunk since 1999. What might have been... IF the powers in Berea had a crystal ball.

Couch- Edgerrin James, Torrey Holt

Courtney Brown- Jamal Lewis, Brian Urlacher

Gerrard Warren (this one really hurts)- Ladanian Tomlinson or Richard Seymour

Willie (Smokin') Green- Ed Reed

Jeff Faine- Asomugha

Win-slow- or The rapist.... Close call

Edwards- or Merriman, Demarcus Ware, or Antron Rolle- I take Ware

Wimbley- should have stayed pat and taken Ngata- or traded down for Nick Mangold

Joe Thomas- first gold star. BQ cost us Tony Ugoh, and a shot at Clady or Flacco the following year.....

Alex Mack- Percy Harvin.... No brainer if Mangold or Faine were on the roster....
