In lieu of doing this as a trivia, I will just here provide you with "Factoids" about Hall of Fame Presenters.

1. Otto Graham chose Paul Brown to be his presenter when he was inducted into the PFHOF.

2. Paul Brown chose Otto Graham to be his presenter when he was inducted into the PFHOF.

3. Bob Waterfied's HOF presenter was Pat O'Brien, the actor who played Knute Rockne.

4. Two U.S. Supreme Court Justices have served as HOF presenters: William O. Douglas was the presenter for Jimmy Conzelman and Byron "Whizzer" White was the presenter for Walt Keisling. White of course played in the NFL and was a teammate of Keislings.

5. U.S. Congressman Frank T. Bow from Canton was the presenter for Mel Hein. Frank T. Bow had the Federal Building in Canton named after him. That Federal Building was constructed on the site of the Huppmobile dealership where the NFL was founded.

6. All 4 of Notre Dame's "Four Horsemen [of the Apocalypse]" served as presenters for the PFHOF's initial class in 1963:

Elmer Layden presented Ernie Nevers

Don Miller presented Bronko Nagurski

Jimmy Crowley presented Curly Lambeau

Harry Stuhldreher presented Sammy Baugh (Stuhldreher was a Massillon native)

7. Jim Brown's presenter was his attorney (but he was also an old friend from Manhasset HS where JB attended)

8. Jackie Smith's presenter was his "long time friend" Mark Vittert, who some has suspected of also being Smith's "Gay Partner".

9. Woody Hayes was the presenter for former OSU player Jim Parker.

10. Jimmy Johnson....the Cornerback for the Niners, not the big hair ex Cowboy Coach, had his brother Rafer Johnson present him. Rafer Johnson was the Gold Medal Winner of the Decathlon in the 1960 Olympics. He is also the person who wrestled the gun away from RFK assassin Sirhan Sirhan.

Jerry Smith, the longtime TE for the Redskins was gay. Never heard that about Jackie Smith. That would be quite the coincidence.

--Jackie Smith dropping that pass in the SB is another example of the horseshoes up the Rooney's asses.

OK, so maybe I will retract that one. It was after all, just speculation on my part. You can see why the confusion....Jerry/Jackie Jackie/Jerry.

Bum Phillips for Earl Campbell. Not too eloquent but spoken from the heart.

I dunno, Bum Phillips was always eloquent in his own peculiar, Jed Clampett sort of way:

How do you win? By getting average players to play good and good players to play great. That's how you win.

Bum Phillips

The only discipline that lasts is self-discipline.

Bum Phillips

Two kinds of ballplayers aren't worth a darn: One that never does what he's told, and one who does nothin' except what he's told.

Bum Phillips

Winning is only half of it. Having fun is the other half.

Bum Phillips

You don't know a ladder has splinters until you slide down it.

Bum Phillips

“Shula can take his and beat yours, and then he can turn around and take yours and beat his.
