BendMeOver Posted December 2, 2010 Report Share Posted December 2, 2010 The league has shown the way for teams to beat the steelers, here's some advice. Punch Roethlisberger, preferably in the head. Hiring a goon who can punch but doesn't know a thing about football would be ideal. Heck let'em score a touchdown then clock him, and instruct him not to stop until wrestled to the ground. The 15 yard penalty will mean about nothing as you'll just start on the 20 yard line after a TD. The fines levied are miniscle, and really if your goon gets thrown out, so what. (See NHL for more detail). With Ben out of the game, TDs will be hard for the Steelers to come by. Pile on Roethlisberger and try to twist a leg injury into the equation. If you thought punching was good this may be even better. No flags will be thrown and no penalties will be levied. The Buffalo Bills proved this theory and put a good injury onto him. One more twist just might send him back to trolling bars for underage drunk girls in Georgia for the rest of the season. Have your QB practice head twists maybe laying on the ground faking a head injury or two. When James Harrison gets anywhere near your QB, the refs are chomping at the bit to flag and fine him. Cameras showed the refs throwning the yellow flag on Harrison before he even touched the QB. Sooner or later they are just going to eject/suspend him. After his suspension maybe then he'll quit his whining and just retire like he threatened to do earlier.
