Would that make Shaun Rogers more sensible alongside Rubin? Could Matt Roth be a prototypical 4-3 DE, a Jared Allen or Aaron Kampmann? Fujita and Gocong have both played in a 4-3 and a lot of people think Jackson should. Wonder how much work we'd have to do to make our front 7 work? You'll see teams gradually move away from it because most of the top defense are running the 3-4 and there are more players that translate to 3-4 outside LB's in the draft than guys that make true defensive ends in the NFL. He bascially leaves the defense to someone else. He is not going to dictate a change from the 3-4 to the 4-3 just to "make the Browns in his image". His image is as an offensive coach.
