Dawgstucknpa
Eric Wright’s season is over Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 20, 2010, 7:40 PM EST Jacksonville Jaguars v Cleveland Browns At times in his career, Browns cornerback Eric Wright has looked like a potential star. We remember Shawn Springs saying on NFL Network that Wright was one of the five best cornerbacks in the league. Like so many young cornerbacks, however, Wright is streaky. He started off this season poorly and things only snowballed from there. He was eventually benched for Joe Haden and Monday he was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season. Wright is a free agent and could be an interesting pickup in the offseason. He’s young (25) and has a lot of experience. Still, his 2010 campaign has crushed his chances of getting a big contract in 2011. Nw220
Really had a let down season this year and more than likely will not be resigned I still will always remember that MNF game agasnt the Giants when he had that pick six but other than that all i can see is Anquan Boldin and Wright 5 yards away from him on everyplay

ClevelandBigDawg
Eric Wright will be back, I can almost guarantee you that. He wont be necessarily cheap, but he will be cheaper than what we were expecting after the previous years. We still need depth, and Eric Wright proves to be that. If we get rid of him, we need to draft or pick up another CB, which right now there are some pretty solid CBs available for next year if the list I am looking up isnt too outdated. The list is outdated, but here were the potential Free Agents at the beginning of the year. Jonathan Joseph Champ Baily Richard Marshall Carlos Rogers Antonio Cromartie Tramon Williams Michael Adams, ARI Brian Williams, ATL Fabian Washington, BAL Chris Carr, BAL Drayton Florence, BUF Corey Graham, CHI Brandon McDonald, CLE Chris Houston, DET Will Blackmon, GB Fred Bennett, HOU Brandon Carr, KC Lito Sheppard, MIN Usama Young, NO Stanford Routt, OAK Ellis Hobbs, PHI Ike Taylor, PIT William Gay, PIT Karl Paymah, SF Josh Wilson, SEA Kelly Jennings, SEA Justin King, STL Ronde Barber, TB Elbert Mack, TB Tye Hill, TEN

He's a stud. I'd take Lito Sheppard or Fabian Washington. Not only is Washnington a shutdown corner, but he is a great kick returner. He and Cribbs would make a great combo back there.
