I find it hilarious that some of you are "wanting to just talk football" on this forum. Did you not read the Forum Terms and Rules (see below). There aren't many rules here. If you don't like a post or a poster REPORT IT TO THE ADMINS. I'll think you're a spineless whining maggot, but they might listen to you. Lord knows no one here ever posts anything that is "....false....defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, obscene, profrane, sexually oriented, threatening...." that just wouldn't be tolerated. You also have to talk nice about Colt McCoy. There are no prohibitions for Steeler or Ratbird trolls. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else. Having said that, I would love to se some new rules added (doubt it will happen but thought I'd toss them out anyway): 1) Members of this forum supporting teams other than the Browns are subject to any fun the admins desire. This may include, but is not limited to, altering member names, member posts, and inserting user profile pics that would make your momma puke. 2) Members determined to be Stooler or Ratbird trolls will have a special troll avatar assigned to their account by the admins. They will also only be allowed to respond to any topic no more than three times. Even trolls have their limits. 3) Members who consistently don't support the new Browns front office and coaching regime will also receive a special avatar. 4) Anyone who posts a topic containing the words "what if" in the title will be limited to the use of pink text color only for a period of 30 days and will receive a special douchebag icon for their avatar. No ... because Shep and those fems over at Barking Tard ruined him for me. They made him gay. We don't want a gay QB. We want a tough Texas hunter/fisherman down & dirty SOB. We just got one. If you guys ruin him for us we're going to punch every one of you. So before we splinter off in to Colt's Queers and the Delhommo's ... let's set some ground rules. 1. Don't whine for Colt. He's a third round pick. He's not ready. He's not going to take us to the Super Bowl this year. He CAN learn from watching. Delhomme and Wallace have experience, and if we start winning with one of them then just accept it. And if Jake throws two interceptions in the first game and someone call for "Colt" ... We're going to punch them 2. If there are any pictures of him out there of him grabbing other guy's crotches, dressed like a Village Person, or simulating fellatio ... We petition H & H to trade him and never speak of him again. 3. We don't know if he's considered good-looking or not, but the first non-chick to comment on his looks gets punched twice and banned. 4. He's not the saviour. He's a guy who might turn out to be a good QB. We are going to run, we are going to play tough defense, we are going to let Jake and our coaching staff teach our young WRs how to play the game at this level. I have been saying this for a decade: WE WILL WIN THE DIVISION WHEN WE HAVE A BETTER DEFENSE THAN THE RAVENS AND STEELERS AND NOT BEFORE. This isn't the NFC West. You have to out-bully the bullies to win this division. No QB is the saviour. He's just a guy that is learning a postition. First time we give up 20 or more points this year and someone blames the QB for the loss and cries for Colt ... they get punched. 5. No Cliques. Support the guy under center. You are certainly entitled to an opinion that one QB is better than the other ... but if you make it your life's mission ... you are gay. If there is a Colt Faction they will be jettisoned off to start their own website just like the Quinn Faction. If you are one of the guys that cheered when Anderson got hurt .. you are gay. If a guy is not raping chicks in bathrooms or throwing his glass at his date ... he's probably a good dude who's trying hard for the team. Yes, I'm talking to you, future Jake Haters. Actually the Nazi movement sprang from the German Worker's Party which was created in 1919. The goal was a form of socialism that involved the sharing of all wealth among the masses. A guy named Anton Drexler is credited with forming that group. I'm not sure whether that group changed people's avatars and signatures, but I bet if they had, World War II could have been avoided. Of course this is nothing like Germany but it does prove my point. This is an Internet forum. Anyone who wants to post here should be allowed to. If they are obnoxious, ban them. Plain and simple. Browns fan, Steeler fan or Ravens fan, most of the supposed "hate" stuff on this board is kinda like what you see in this video. Someone throws out something on a thread and waits for for the next available person to jump on it. Anyways, I can't find your "terms of service" agreement, but if the Longhorn quote above is actually a quote from it, their are very few "Browns" fans that actually follow it. If you want a clean board about football, you have to clean up both the Browns fans and the opponents fans who violate that rule. When you enforce it on the opponents and ignore it for your own team, you still really don't clean up your board. You drive people with the difference of opinion away, diminishing your board. I mean as long as the admins are active, just ban the user and delete the topic post. It's pretty obvious which ones are the trolls. Even for the ones who want to talk "football" on here, guys its simple. JUST DON'T RESPOND. Even the more civilized ones on here still take any chance to boast and talk crap. No matter what anyone of these other teams fan say, they are praying that you respond to them. They wouldn't be posting on another (often rival) teams board if they didn't want to ruffle feathers to some degree. Trust me, returning the favor of responding to some trash talk post is exactly what they want. If it's about football, then go ahead.
