VaporTrail
While I only watched your highlight video, it showed me that it looks like he's got soft hands, but he tends to not extend his arms to make a catch. Failing to do that can often mean an interception at the next level.
wvdawg
yea he does make too many catches with his body but i still think he's the best 2nd rd option unless jon baldwin is there
ITHIKA
Would rather have Baldwin in the 2nd 6 ft 5 and has great hands and leaping ability!
calfoxwc
He's got character, size, speed, toughness, yac instincts - he's smart. Plenty smart enough to do more reaching out and catching the ball with his hands. But I see that same bringing the ball in toward the chest in the NFL anyways. I think he's a great pick in the second, if I do say so myself... GGG

calfoxwc
Baldwin is no way for the Browns. Forget his excellent athleticism. He's a locker room cancer, selfish, big mouth troublemaker... I read up on the wr's, and dropped him from my list like a hot rock. ******************************************************** http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2010/12/23/1...rrested-in-2009 "Arrested and charged with misdemeanor indecent assault, summary harassment and summary disorderly conduct in spring of 2009 but the charges were later dismissed." With Wannstedt gone, so is Baldwin to NFL | CollegeFootballTalk With Wannstedt gone, so is Baldwin to NFL Posted by John Taylor on December 8, 2010, 10:07 AM EST It’s been thought that Jonathan Baldwin was doing a heavy lean toward leaving Pittsburgh a year early and would make himself available for the 2011 NFL draft. With the events of yesterday combined with the fact that Tino Sunseri would still likely be his quarterback, the wide receiver’s lean has turned into a full-blown tip toward the draft. Speaking to NFLDraftScout.com via text message Tuesday, and after a bit of confusion, Baldwin confirmed that he will leave a year of eligibility on the table and declare for the NFL draft. And, along the way, he also managed to throw under the bus now-former head coach Dave Wannstedt, Pitt’s offensive coaching staff and the quarterback who will be throwing to him in his collegiate finale Jan. 8. Reached through text message Tuesday evening and asked if it was safe to say he would forego his senior year with Wannstedt stepping down, Baldwin responded, “No, it’s not safe to say that. It doesn’t change my quarterback!” At first, it sounded as if Baldwin was non-committal on his future, but when asked, “Why would you stay [for your senior season] when you have no chemistry with QB Tino Sunseri, a new coach/system taking over next season and possibly hurt your draft stock for the 2012 draft, Baldwin clarified, “Oh, I misunderstood you … Heck yeah I’m leaving. It can only get worse. They had me running a lot of deep routes [this year] and yards were hard to come by. I barely ran intermediate routes; it felt like they were purposely trying to disrupt my draft stock.” Baldwin’s lack of tact as he heads out the door notwithstanding, the stats do bear him out. In 2009, he averaged 19.5 yards on his 57 receptions; in 2010, his per catch average on 52 receptions dropped precipitously to 15.6. The biggest difference between last season and this one? Bill Stull under center in ’09, Sunseri in ’10. Well, that and Dion Lewis suddenly became mortal in 2010. Still, with his size — listed at 6-5, 230 pounds — and production — nearly 2,000 in two years, 13 touchdowns and over 100 receptions — Baldwin likely won’t be lacking suitors on the first couple of days of the April draft. ITHIKA
Interesting, too bad Jones wont be there in the second round guy is a great WR and a class act of a person. but a bit of a stretch to draft at 6 maybe we can trade down.
calfoxwc
His route running and work ethic has been criticized a lot... too bad. So much talent, so much baggage. I don't understand it.
Nw220
Latest mock Drafts have Torrey smith going late round one so unless were gonna trade back into the first round to grab him i dont see it happening, we should just swap places with someone like Detriot who pick 13 i believe and grab Julio Jones because St.Louis picks 14 and he'll be gone by then... Nw220
Chicago Will grab Torrey Smith if hes there and theres no good O-line left on the board

calfoxwc
Figuring that Green is gone, I'd much rather trade down a bit and get one of the wr's we WANT. I wouldn't be surprised if Torrey went in the late first round. Wait til after the wr combine workouts...
Nw220
Yeah excatly trade spots with say Detriot at 13 who could use some help on D so they can land Prince or whomever they would like to add and grab Julio Jones because he will be taken by the Rams at 14 if hes there in my opion you'd have to be ahead of them....Torrey Smith and Baldwin both have issues Baldwin pubicly came out and said they were trying to not get him the ball to make him look bad (sound familiar (T.O.) )
miktoxic
what if green is there at 6, do we pick him? i mean the FO is mostly offensive guys (not talking about looks or attitude) or do we go defense? or trade down? just asking. starting to get the draft bug. Kosar_For_President
if Green is there we pick him I think. He's big, fast and can catch... then we pick up someone like Toliver from LSU in later rounds. No free-agent, washed up, overpaid WR necessary.
