Chris.
CF - Michael Brantley SS - Asdrubal Cabrera RF - Shin-Soo Choo C - Carlos Santana DH - Travis Hafner 2B - Orlando Cabrera LF - Austin Kearns 1B - Matt LaPorta 3B - Jack Hannahan SP - Fausto Carmona (followed by Carrasco, Masterson, Tomlin and Talbot) Bullpen - Chris Perez, Rafael Perez, Durbin, Sipp, Pestano, Herrmann, Germano, Smith If Sizemore can have any impact when he returns, that's a pretty great middle of the order. Hafner (.932 OPS post all-star break, he's been better than you think when he's playing) and Droob (.361 OBP in 2009) are nice wildcards in the 2 and 5 spots. Brantley and LaPorta can still be impact players if they live up to their minor league resumes. There's some potential there...
Chris.
And an underrated part of the season is having guys like Nick Hagadone, Jess Todd, Rob Bryson, and Bryce Stowell not-too-far away for our bullpen. Alex White might be in Cleveland by July, and Pomeranz could come up next year. The team's new philosophy of pitching prospects is about to really start showing itself. The new core is about to get here, and we don't really have to worry about re-signing anyone besides Choo (I know. Grady. But he has to show something). Time for the rebuild to start paying off. Yeah, I'm excited again. Hurrah for Opening Day.
