Answers:

1. Which "Pre-Super Bowl" NFL Championship game had the highest attendance. (this would encompass games played between 1933 and 1965)

It was the 1955 title game between the Rams and the Browns played at the LA Coliseum with an attendance of 85,693. The second highest attendance was the Browns/Colts 1964 NFL title game.

2. Which Super Bowl game had the highest attendance?

SB XIV after the 1979 season between the Rams and Steelers at the Rose Bowl with an attendance of 103,985

3. Six teams are 0-1 in their lone SB appearance. Name them.

Cardinals, Seahawks, Panthers, Titans, Falcons, Chargers

4. Four teams are 1-0 in their lone SB appearance. Name them.

Jets, Saints, Ravens, Bucs.

5. Vancouver is currently competing for what we in the US believe to be their first championship in a major league sport since 1915. However, it is possible that the people in Vancouver may believe that the CFL is a "major sport" in their minds. When was the last time a team from Vancouver won a CFL Championship?

The BC Lions won their last CFL title in 2006.

6. Name the Head coaches that have coached 2 different franchises in the Super Bowl.

Don Shula with Colts and Dolphins, Dan Reeves with Broncos and Falcons, Bill Parcells with Giants and Pats, Mike Holmgren with Packers and Seahawks, Dick Vermeil with Eagles and Rams.

Note however that none of these have won the Super Bowl with 2 different teams. Reeves lost with both the Broncos and Falcons. The others split.

7. Name the Quarterbacks that have started the Super Bowl with 2 different teams.

Only Craig Morton and Kurt Warner have started SBs with 2 different teams. Both of these guys split. Morton won with the Cowboys in SBV but lost with the Broncos (against the Cowboys!). Warner won with the Rams but lost with the Cardinals.

8. Which NFL team is considered to have a rivalry with some non-NFL teams, ever though these teams have never played each other?

The Buffalo Bills have a theoretical rivalry with both the Hamilton TigerCats and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL stemming from the Bills "Toronto Series" which apparently has caused some resentment of the Bills from their Canadian neighbors.

9. The Indians and the Reds have been playing each other in an Interleague series since interleague play began in 1997. Which team has won the "Ohio Cup" the most times, representing the winner of the season series?

The Indians have won the series 6 times, the Reds 4 times, with the series being tied at 3-3 on 4 other occasions.

10. Name the three oldest stadiums in the NFL.

Soldier Field in Chicago...1924, Lambeau Field in Green Bay...1957, and Candlestick Park in San Fran..1960 are the three oldest stadiums in use in the NFL.....HOWEVER:

Soldier Field was NOT used by the Bears to play their games until 1971. The Bears used Wrigley Field prior to that. And likewise, Candlestick Park was NOT used by the 49ers to play their games there also until 1971. Before that they played at Kezar Stadium.

Both the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and what is now called Qualcomm stadium in San Diego have hosted the Raiders and Chargers since 1967....longer than Soldier or Candlestick (with the exception of the time the Raiders played in LA)

Name the oldest field on which football has been played in the NFL.

The "field" on which the NFL has played the longest is the field that sits in Cleveland Browns Stadium. That field has been used by the Browns since 1946 (in NFL since 1950). There is a new stadium built up around that field, but the actual playing field is the same footprint as was in Cleveland Municipal Stadium since the 30s.

Actually, in fact, that field has been in use by the NFL since 1937 when the Cleveland Rams began playing in Muni stadium.
