I usually do this trivia on Mon. or Tuesday. Sorry about being late this week, but here is some interesting Browns/Raiders trivia. Mostly Raiders:

1. What is the Browns/Raiders head to head regular season record?

2. What is the Browns/Raiders head to head playoff record?

3. Which former Raider personality attended Wittenberg College in Springfield, OH.?

4. Which former Raider personality is a native of Sandusky, Ohio?

5. The Raiders only became a member of the AFL because a certain other franchise reneged on its deal to join the AFL and agreed to join the NFL instead. Which franchise?

6. In the early 60s, the Raiders had a Head Coach who was the namesake of a fairly famous comedic actor. What was this coach...and actor's name? (Hint: think Mel Brooks movies)

7. How much did it cost Al Davis to buy his original 10% interest in the Raiders in 1966?

8. What rival NFL coach did Al Davis sue for slander because that coach called one of the Raiders players a "criminal" for his clothesline tackle on an opposing player?

9. In 1960 a "Name the Team" contest was held to name the new Oakland AFL franchise. The name that the fans voted for was NOT "The Raiders" and was, obviously, ultimately rejected. What was that name?

10. The "pirate" or "Raider" depicted on the Raiders helmet is supposed to be the face of an actual actor. Who was that actor? (Hint: remember, this was chosen in the early 60s)

11. What Stadium or stadia did The Oakland Raiders play their home games in in their first 2 seasons? (Hint: it is obviously not their current stadium)

12. The Raiders did play a home game in another stadium once and only once in their history due to a conflict with the Oakland As playing a playoff game. In that game, played in 1973 the Raiders broke the Miami Dolphins undefeated string after their perfect 1972 season.

What stadium was this game played in?

Bonus: The Raiders have not retired any jersey numbers in their history....but...there is one jersey number worn by a former Raiders great player that will never be worn again. Name the number and the player who wore it.

00 Jim Otto. The NFL decreed that the number 00 could not be used. The number was given to him not only to depict the first and last letter of his name, but also because it can be a homophone of his name, i.e. "Aught-Oh".

Raiders88: did you really know all this or did you google the answers?

I knew them. However I did not know how much Al Davis bought the team for until about a week ago when an Al Davis tribute was on TV, it was mentioned in the tribute. I came across the Browns vs. Raiders all time series record on a gameday preview article in the newspaper a few days before the game. All the other questions I've heard the answers before
