Browns Board aka Beanpot's League If you haven't figured it out yet, Beans is peerless in fantasy leagues; the man has the magic touch. Of course, it doesn't hurt that he watches the games, listens to the sports shows, listens to fantasy league podcasts, and enjoys the heck out of all of it. It therefore comes as no surprise that Beanpot is currently the top seed following 6 straight winswith a record of 10-3-0. Zombo's WildDawgs were the most recent victims of the Beanpot juggernaut, falling by a score of 100-86. Zombo currently holds the #8 spot and the final slot of the consolation round and a 5-7-1 record. That lone tie boost the Dogs over 3 teams with 5-8-0 records; a case where a tie works in a teams favor. A loss this week for the WildDawgs could be critical. Werewolves of Linden are hot on Beans' heels but Ballantyne Buckeyes grabbed the Werewolves' tails, giving a yank. The Buckeyes managed an 89-89 tie which dropped the 'wolves to 9-3-1. This is a case where a tie is a distinct DISadvantage, giving the Werewolves second seed with one week to go. Dot the I hasn't statistically secured a playoff spot but it's sure lookin' good. With an 8-5-0 record and 4 wins in a row, the I is sitting pretty. Navdawg's Browns lost his second game in a row, losing to Dot 107-73. NavDawg has a mere ghost of chance of securing a consolation round spot. The Usual Suspects and the Average Joe's are on the playoff bubble. The Suspects have a tie and a 7-5-1 record working for them thanks to a win over Believeland 98-93. The Average Joe's pulled off a 92-78 win over TexChainsaw Massaquoi; the Joe's currently have a 7-6-0 record and are still hanging on. Redneck Roosters helped dig a hole UNDER the cellar for Greenville Mayhem 122-82. Mayhem is studying catalogs and making plans to decorate a shelter from anything you can possibly imagine, including fantasy sports. Gad. This was supposed to be a pleasant diversion from the Browns. Browns Board 2 aka Oreo's Team The Hammer and dirty hand have clinched playoff spots. The Hammer sent Gocong or Go Home into 3rd place by ONE critical point. Gocong has to be smarting from leaving plenty of points on the bench. Anyone but DeAngelo Williams, Gocong, anyone else on your bench would have done it! Oh the pain! dirty hands joined the ranks of the many who have smacked around Oreo's Team by kicking the cat, 111-52. Oreo is licking her wounds but grateful to be out of last place in at least one fantasy league. DD's and Gocong have the same 9-4-0 record. DD's decked Beanpot 73-63 Lambdo's Air Show trails DD's with an 8-4-1 record. The Air Show clobbered Kamac 19, 95-58 and is still hoping for a miracle and a spot in the Championship round. I can't do the math but maybe if all the chips fall just right there's a chance. Kentucky BarnBurner got hosed by Choo Choo's 120-81. The little engine that could is hanging on to eighth place and the last slot in the consolation round while Barnburner is ensconced in the 6 spot. Beans is lingering in the middle of the pack after losing to DD's 73-63. Hammertime and Bronx Browns, the 11 and 12 teams, fought it out with pillows. hammertime finished with more feathers, 53-41. The Heidi Report With only 3 weeks left in the season, Cleveland Steamers is still the only one to clinch a playoff spot, but it's still a pretty close call between the top 5 teams so it's still anyone's chance to take home the title of champion of league 3. My Helmet's 2Tight 8-5-0 (114) Brownies 8-4-1 (81) Helmet is on a 5 game win streak. Their top players for week 13 are: Aaron Rodgers with 31 points and Marshawn Lynch with 21 points. Brownies top players for the week were: Arian Foster and Wes Welker both with 18 points and Jermichael Finley with 17. RunninUover 6-6-1 (77) The Korky Butcheks 7-5-1 (94) RunninUover's top players in week 13 are: Cam Newton with 33 points (and earned him the Viagra Award this week) and C. J. Spiller with 15 points. The Korky Butcheks' top players were: Shonn Greene with 27 points and Tom Brady with 17 points. stewartcj1 1-12-0 (67) Football is back 7-6-0 (71) Football is back edged out stewartcj1 by 4 points to earn this matchup The Squeaker Award. stewartcj1's top players are: Rob Gronkowski with 27 points and Philip Rivers with 23 points. Football is back's top players were: Drew Brees with 24 points and Rashard Mendenhall with 16 points. Ballantyne Bruisers 8-5-0 (93) Peyton'sPosse 3-10-0 (101) Ballantyne Bruiser's top players this week were: Ryan Mathews and Roy Helu both with 16 and Jimmy Graham with 13 points. Peyton'sPosse grabbed win #3 this week. His top players were: Pierre Garcon with 31 points and Chris Johnson with 23 points. fatherof3 8-5-0 (129) Believeland Browns 4-9-0 (84) fatherof3 made it into the endzone and went back for seconds and thirds to grab this week's Biggest Blowout Award with a +45 points. His big players this week were: Percy Harvin with 31 points and LeSean McCoy and Maurice Jones_Drew both with 24. Believeland Browns top players were: Ray Rice with 21 points and Vincent Jackson with 14 points. He played Cleveland Steamers and got his buns steamed this week.
