Zombo
Last year, Seneca Wallace played the best of our three QBs, but an ill-timed injury sent him to the bench and the Browns got a good long look at young Colt McCoy. They're still looking. Wallace brings a strong veteran presence, many years in the same system, familiarity with practicing with the all of the receivers, and a strong running ability. Might be just the jolt this offense needs. Cleveland at Arizona, Sunday 4:15PM The Cards have bounced back to life the past few weeks behind backup QB John Skelton, who has been showing Kevin Kolb how to utilize the Cardinal weapons. The Browns are hoping Seneca Wallace does the same in taking over for McCoy. The difference could come down to defense where the Browns are giving up 62 less yards per game through the air than the Cards, and more than 3 points per game less as well. Look for the Cards to go after Joe Haden and find out they are picking on the wrong guy ... two picks for Haden, including one to the house ... BROWNS 27 CARDINALS 23 Baltimore at San Diego, Sunday 8:20 PM, Sunday Night Football San Diego has awoken out of its annual slumber again, with just enough time to rundown everybody in their mediocre division. More importantly, Phillip rivvers is playing like Phillip Rivers again, and that's not good for Baltimore, who's not going to win a lot of shootouts, especially on the road. CHARGERS 37 BALTIMORE 24 Pittsburgh at San Francisco, Monday, 8:30 PM, Monday Night Football The Browns did a number on Big Ben's ankle last week, and it is doubtful he will on his game only ten days later with a trip across the country. San Fran, meanwhile, is in a dogfight for that important #2 seed in the NFC and Jim Harbaugh will throw the kitchen sink at the Steelers. Betcha it works. 49ERS 17 STEELERS 13 Zombo
Gips
Im thinking seneca looks better than colt overall as far as being able to move the club down the field but i suspect he will get picked before hitting paydirt on most drives.. And then there is the "bad shurmur" theory being we may not want to win another game this year so shurmy gives wallace some super vanilla plays and tries to keep the ball on the ground either way we will lose.. Redbirds 27 Clowns 6 Different regime, different players, same owner and the same result.. Homey da clown would make a great logo on the helmet..
