Chicopee John
The spirit of this video is very good. The practicality, unfortunately, cannot happen. Too many views and opinions of how 'the system' as he stated should work. Not a bad thing to keep in the back of you mind, however, as we go about our day-to-day interactions. Mr. T
As I can see it greed and vanity are two of the largest social ills that we face today. Not to mention we have way to many gadgets to waste our time with.
VaporTrail
Greed and vanity aren't going away any time soon, and to say we've got too many gadgets trivializes the scientific achievements that allow us to do things we take for granted that were unheard of 15 years ago. Just the fact that basically every shred of knowledge we've ever amassed can be found in an online database from anywhere in the world, is, for lack of a better word, fuckingamazing. We've come really far as a species, but yeah, we're still animals, still hardwired off of millions of years of evolution and natural selection. It's hard to find a social or economic situation where Darwinism would not apply. Hopefully we're intelligent enough, as a whole, to not go out in a nuclear holocaust, but I feel like that's giving us maybe too much credit.
