The game was most certainly NOT "technically" over. Quite the opposite, which is precisely my point. Helmet was taken off in celebration, in the field of play, while the game was still "technically" going on. What you mean to say is, "He took off the helmet after a touchdown had been incorrectly signaled. Therefore, he 'mistakenly believed' the game to be over, and committed a personal foul, when he took his helmet off in a celebration of a run that ended at the one yard line." The game was definitely not "technically" over. The game was still going on. All touchdowns are reviewed, before they are declared a "touchdown." Ball on the 16 yard line, after the personal foul.
