heckofajobbrownie
Both of these Romney statements are completely taken out of context, especially the second one. All he was talking about yesterday was having the ability to switch health insurers - or any other service business - if they don't provide you the service they provide you. Anyone who is clipping that statement to have it mean something else is being disingenuous. Of course, Romney can't really complain about this, since he's already done this in his ads and when called on it basically said, "Who cares?" But just because Mitt Romney has no shame and will say anything it doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't either. You've got to call it bullshit in both instances. heckofajobbrownie
Of course, being Romney, the point he was making is that you should be able to change your health insurer if you want to, and saying under the Affordable Care Act you can't. Except that's not true, and he knows it. Because his Massachusetts plan and the ACA are essentially the same thing. And the ACA does let you switch insurers if you don't like the service you're getting. Just like you can in Massachusetts. Because Romney will lie to anyone, or say anything, if he thinks it will help him become president. And that's the worry about him. It's not that his temperament is "scary" or that his beliefs are. It's that he's a fraud.
