They said it was a "family friendly" Browns site, and that I was trying to "skirt" their language filter. They also said that the use of the abbreviation "WTF" was not tolerated, either. Have you ever noticed how so many sports are simply "soccer" in another form? Especially some Olympic sports? You have a rectangular field with a goal and a goalie and the purpose of the game is to put a ball or similar object in the goal. Its just that each of these sports has a variation: Soccer. Here you can't use you hands. Handball. Is soccer except you can use your hands and a smaller ball about the size of a softball. (this is the Euro/Olympic version of handball. Not the kind of handball that is played off a wall with a hard rubber ball and a glove. Lacrosse. Here you carry a stick with a net at the end. Ice Hocky, played on ice. Field Hockey. Just like regular hockey except with a ball on grass. Water polo. Same game, just played in water. Polo. Same game except played on horses. Even basketball is similar in some sense. And, if you think about it, a few other sports are just a variation on these theme, except they have a net in the middle: tennis, table tennis, volleyball, badmitton Same sport. Different venue. Yet, when you have a really different popular sport like baseball, the Olympics dumps it because it isn't "Euro" enough for them. It is only one of the most popular sports in North and South America and Asia....but because it isn't popular amongst the Eurotrash....who keep badmitton instead, baseball gets dumped as an Olympic sport.
