If he deserves it. He's certainly not my preferred candidate, and I don't want anyone in office, even Romney, who has to answer to the base of the Republican Party. That'd be you nuts.

 

But if it has to be someone, I prefer Romney. He's smart. He's capable. He's not mean-spirited. He takes his job seriously. If history is any guide, he'll appoint some good people to work with him. Like the first President Bush, I expect the plums thrown to the base to be mostly symbolic.
