Chicopee John
A moment in history in this video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Japanese surrender, Sept. 2, 1945 This film is believed to have never been seen before, only shots of the surrender were known. If you are a history Buff you will enjoy this. General McArthur’s voice is a rarity in these old film clip ACTUAL VOICE OF GENERAL McARTHUR NEVER BEEN SHOWN TO GENERAL PUBLIC BEFORE. Japanese Surrender- Amazing Footage Sept 2, 1945.... This is a 'must see' for the WWII history buff or anyone interested in history. Interesting the other signers to the document, from New Zealand/Australia to Europe/Russia. This is an actual film made of the surrender ceremony of the Japanese to McArthur in Tokyo Bay inSeptember 1945. Actual voice of the General. Never been shown to the general public before. We always saw the "stills" but never the film itself. Click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=vcnH_kF1zXc&feature=player_embedded

Chicopee John
>>You fluent yet?>> Kos, "Yes dear, right away" is pretty much unversally understood. Die probably doesn't need to understand a word in Japanese.
Chicopee John
>>McArthur has always been one of my heros.>> FYI, he was born and raised in Chicopee, MA.
Chicopee John
>>That's a pretty stupid fucking comment Chic.>> At first I thought Die's comments were in jest, based on some of the sidebar conversations taking place. I found out, however, that he is quite serious and considers my comments to be terribly racist. I apologize to all that were offended.

Chicopee John
Sorry Chic, I was having a bad day. I had one of those about 10 years ago. I don't want to reopen healing wounds, Die, but I believe you misinterpreted my words - at least my intent. Be well.
