"Gulkis was responding to a report by radio reporter Howard Eskin of WIP in Philadelphia, who said the Browns may be for sale. Eskin reported on his Twitter account that former Eagles President Joe Banner is interested in putting together a group to buy the Buffalo Bills, and the Browns and St. Louis Rams may also be for sale."

1. Browns are not for sale. This was a false rumor. Maybe we shouldn't take what out of state radio shows say about our team as fact.

2. Gilbert can not own an NFL franchise because he owns a casino.

Right. Just because someone may say they are interested in buying a team doesn't mean that the team is for sale.

I can put out a report that says: "The Gipper has an interest in buying the Cleveland Browns", and a guy like this Erskine can pick it up an run with it as a legitimate story.....but if he fails to report the second half of the sentence: "....and he is willing to pay up to One Thousand Dollars for them..." it is just stupid to report it.

By the way....if the Browns are available for the price of One Thousand Dollars, I am interested. ;)

The Rams makes no sense, since they JUST sold to that guy from Denver.
