SirLuck
Only 2 weeks after the first full practice to the first pre-season game. It should be longer. How are you conditioning or training a player to your team in such a short period? The commentators expect you to immediately shine in the pre-season so I'd like to see more development. Hunt Daddy
They practice during the preseason games and regular season games as well. Training camp is just the start. Two solid weeks of practice before any remote game action. Plus they come into training camp pretty knowledgeable about the playbook and what they'll be doing. TJMAC
Players are working out these days and get some work in with OTAs. Training Camp is no longer needed to get in shape. I would like to see more than 1 week before the first pre season game though (HOF Game).
DieHardBrownsFan
Not to get in shape, because athletes now have many mini camps and stay in shape year round. But the rookies will need to learn a pro play book, which takes time.
Zombo
The first two preseason games are part of training camp. Playing in the NFL is a year-round job now, these guys aren't insurance agents in the off-season anymore like they were in 1967. Zombo
ballpeen
My feeling is it is too long.
Gips
These guys are lucky im not the boss man because i would expect my players to come in to training camp off the weed n booze and already in shape and ready to compete for the starting job.. hammertime
I would sit all my key players. Cardio only. Pilates/yoga. Core strength. We should neveer lose a starter due to pre-season crap.
