Zombo Posted June 21, 2013 Report Share Posted June 21, 2013 If the Browns would have held onto Atkins, Marshall, Davis, Mitchell, Lebeau and Jordan ... it's scary how good they they could have been in the late 50's and through the 60's ... with Lenny Dawson quarterbacking perhaps. Paul Brown brought in enormous talent, but he sure tossed some of it away ... of course, back then, roster sizes were a lot smaller, and if a guy didn't develop in two years you probably had to cut bait.
