heckofajobbrownie
Of the names floating around, who would you guys want to see get the nomination to face (almost certainly) Hillary? - Rand Paul - Ted Cruz - Chris Christie - Marco Rubio - Jeb Bush - Scott Walker - someone else? gftChris
FWIW, I've only heard bad things about scott walker, assuming he's the guy from wisconsin.
Dste Ace
Chris Christie or Jeb Bush, if they (Republicans) want to win.

DieHardBrownsFan
Hillary? LMAO! After her exceptionally poor leadership of the State Department and the Benghazi cover-up, she will never get the nomination.
sadbrownsfan
gawd I hope not hillary for the dems, it would be like when the repubs picked Romney and basically handed the white house to the dems.
sadbrownsfan
also thanks for brining up 2016 3 years early, I can't wait for election season to start next yr.... and it gets to be double the fun since both parties will need a nominee

Westside Steve
Of the names floating around, who would you guys want to see get the nomination to face (almost certainly) Hillary? - Rand Paul too squirrely for the general public. - Ted Cruz too inexperienced but I like his style. Cuban like Rubio. they trend Republican Mexicans trend Democrat. I kind of worry Republicans will take the Hispanic bait. - Chris Christie I like him eveI like him even if he went a little overboard sucking the president's dick. - Jeb Bush Bush fatigue -Marco Rubio I like him but I don't think the Mexicans will feel that close to a Cuban. - Scott Walker Like him a lot Thune still in the mix? WSS - someone else?
heckofajobbrownie
I wouldn't count out Thune, but he's #3 in the Senate now and doesn't make a lot of the usual presidential noise. He may be happy where he is. PS - The Republicans have lost their advantage with the Cuban vote over the last 20 years. Obama and Romney basically split it.
calfoxwc
I admire Thune. He needs to step it up and go for it. He'd win. He may not have been ready before, but I believe he'll be ready in 2016. Btw, I do admire Cruz, too, but he isn't smooth enough to get past the left's attack weasels.... I'd say at this early point, it's Scott Walker or Thune. Those two are the only ones I admire who could win it. ... Thune is the clear #1 - only because Walker will have the left after him for not kissing their pink-o ring . Rube-io ? I think not. Maybe Niki Haley as VP....@@ (okay, that's just a fun Sarah Palin reference...don't get all stumpy, Heck_

heckofajobbrownie
How snide is it when Michele Bachman was leading the pack at one point in the 2012 race, and when Sarah Palin was the vice presidential nominee of your party? Do be sure to make it through this video.
calfoxwc
Because the other two won't run. Palin is considering the Senate, and Bachman got hammered in a fit of sconservative women hating by the left, as was Palin.

calfoxwc
I never said anything about nothing else mattered... they both won't run...and I said that Palin was running for the senate....maybe... now where the hell do you get that them being conservative women was the only reaon? Stewy
Oh, it was because they were conservative women Nothing else though? Alright No not only, but mostly...the media ran unrelenting attacks on Palin. Dont be an idiot in denial woody, the left loathes consevative woman just because they are conservative. You know it and I know it. If you are a conservative and a woman, you must be destroyed. Take a little test Woody ...name one thing Sarah Palin said, or one thing she did to deserve all the hate. One idiot liberal even wished that Palin was aboard a plane that crashed... http://www.concordmonitor.com/news/4632115-95/bettencourt-post-death-halloran

heckofajobbrownie
Maher called her a "dumb twat," not a slut. And Letterman said she had a "slutty flight attendant look." So you have two comedians, one calling her a a dumb twat. Half right, half crude and sexist. The other says she dresses like a slutty flight attendant. ...And that's it? You're right. Calling her a slut is something liberals really did en masse. You've got maybe, oh, half an example of it happening one time right there!
heckofajobbrownie
Certainly didn't take long for you guys to make this thread about Republican presidential candidates you'd like to see and turn it into "I hate libruls." calfoxwc
There was no legit reason, ever, to hate Sarah Palin or Bachman. I don't hate Obamao or ex pres Clinton, or her husband, Bill..... but their words, their hypocrisy and failure to solve any problem is crap. I rail against them for what they stand for. They are corrupt socialist, panderers to the gay and the worst part of the black community's dependent subculture............sumbeeches Palin was a terrific gov who got a lot done. But, the media and libs hated her. Why? eh...because she was a devoted mother? A gun owner? Hunter and fisherwoman? FOR real marriage? Or, she had a child who was handicapped? The left even ridiculed her child. You see anybody ridiculing any children of libs? Obamao's daughters? No, you don't. See the difference? No, you don't and you won't. And yes, Heck, I supported Palin and Bachman. I love their principles. They support the things I support. Like real marriage, gun ownership, the list goes on. I wasn't happy with McCain at all. The difference is, liberals adapt different principles of whoever are the front running leaders of their party. Our conservative principles are what they are, and the Reps had doggone better support them, or they lose our votes. Dems vote for the Wieners, and Marion Barry's, again and again. God help us if that guy who held those women captive in Cleveland for ten years ...runs for political office when he gets out of prison. He'd get a ton of votes, as long as he's a lefty that postures for free stuff and total lack of accountability of the poor and poor black community. Recently, an NBC poll showed a very serious increase of folks who believe our racial relationships are worse. No flippin wonder. So, why all the lefty support for this pres? Free stuff and lack of accountability for the left's actions.

Westside Steve
Anyway we shall see what happens. I think its a good chance somebody will emerge from the ozone before the race really fires up. Also I've always liked Hilary better than Obama but I'm not sure that her candidacy is going to be as solid. I don't think she'll get 98 percent of the female vote. As far as the executive race I think I'd be happier with the House and Senate if it were a choice. WSS
