BadNewsBrowns
The Place Beyond the Pines Bradley Cooper,Ryan Gossling,Ray Liotta directed by Derek Cianfrance Pretty good film with some plot twists, a bit predictable at times but overall I'd recommend. Promised Land Matt Damon directed by Gus Van Sant A fracking pitchman sets shop in a small town to endorse fracking on their land. Side Effects Jude Law,Catherine Zeta-Jones directed by Steven Soderbergh Physcological Thriller centered around the pharmaceutical industry. Westside Steve
I did see the place beyond the pines and surprised how much I like it. The trailers did not do it justice. I did not see the promised land since the previews make it pretty clear its an anti gas/oil company morality play. I may watch the Jude Law flick when it comes on demand. miktoxic
i'll definitely check out 'the place beyond the pines'. don't like soderbergh's work nor jude law. the matt damon flick i purposely missed in part because of damon and krasinski (can't take either of them seriously) and in part because of the political mess that is taking part upstate here in NY. i can't drive down the street or walk my dog without seeing some sign or sticker with the 'no fracking' verbiage plastered on it.
