tampadawgs
Here is the list of records of single season records that could be broke...MAYBE Receiving Single-seasonB. Edwards, 2007 had 1289 in receiving yards. Most catches in a season 1 Ozzie Newsome 1984*+ 28 CLE TE 16 15 89 1001 11.2 5 52 5.6 62.6 0 2 Ozzie Newsome 1983 27 CLE TE 16 16 89 970 10.9 6 66 5.6 60.6 0 3 Kellen Winslow Jr. 2006 23 CLE TE 16 16 89 875 9.8 3 40 5.6 54.7 1 All had 89 catch seasons, again to think the Browns have never had someone with a 100 catches Rushing yards Jim Brown in 1963 with 1863 yards...I think that he is pretty safe Passing Yards Brian Sipe had 4132 yards in 1980, again Should be easy to take down. He also as the record of 30 TDS.
Canton Mike
Keep in mind that Jim Brown rushed for 6.4 YPC in 1963 & accomplished that yardage in 14 games, an average of 133 YPG. Had he maintained that for an additional 2 games, he would have rushed for 2,129 yards over 16 games. That production as a RB may not be touched in MY lifetime & I don't intend to kick the bucket anytime soon. Mike
The Gipper
Completions: the record is 337 by Sipe in 1980. Last year Weeden had 297...6th most in team history. Rushing TDs? Jim Brown had 17 twice. TR last year had 11 and missed some games (but agreed that these records should be divided between 14 and 16 game seasons.....because, in fact, one of JBs 17 TD seasons came in only a 12 game seasons!: 1958
