Nuckin Futz
Just curious as to what you guys think. Who do you think is the biggest mauler on defense and biggest playmaker on offense available in the draft ? Doesn't matter which selection you use on either. Flyin J
Playmaker on offense? Watkins and Manziel Mauler on defense? Which position?/take your pick personally, I think we need a mauler on offense and a playmaker on defense. All needs pale in comparison to QB, but if were waiting, Id take Robinson over Watkins, and on D Id love to get Gilbert or Clinton-Dix.

I'm in the Bortles/Evans camp on O
The Gipper
Just curious as to what you guys think. Who do you think is the biggest mauler on defense and biggest playmaker on offense available in the draft ? Doesn't matter which selection you use on either. Well, if you go by the highlights and reputation, the biggest mauler on defense is Jadavious Clowney. He is supposed to be the biggest mauler on defense in the history of college football since 1869!! Isn't he? And...he could very well be just that. The offensive playmaker that gets the most run: Johnny Football. That is how he got his name....doing amazing things with the ball. Again, he is supposed to be one of the greatest playmaker in the history of the game. So, if you go just by their college performances...which should be a very important thing...those are the two guys that get the nod. Of course, the question is whether or not two of the supposedly greatest of all time at their positions in college can translate that to the Pros. That is the 64 million dollar question, no? miktoxic
evans and gilbert. a #1 WR in his own right but massive in size who would be the ying to gordon's yang. same with gilbert playing opposite haden. it'd be the best young CB tandem in the NFL. Clevfan4life
despite that big ass hit he put on Michigan I wouldn't call Clowney a "mauler". He's a very fluid athlete who works his way around offensive lineman....he doesn't go through them. If he puts on another 10 lbs of muscle and keeps his speed he could potentially be one of the best defensive players ever. Despite everyone saying he's a pure 43 DE I think his best fit is the hybrid in a 34, like Kruger. He's not as strong as Kruger is now, obviously, but if he gets to that point where he can hold up the run as well as Kruger plus he keeps his speed....the word dominant will not do him justice. thenew23
Biggest mauler on D is probably Clowney, but others include Mack and Barr Biggest play maker on O is probably Bortles, but others include Evans, Watkins, Manziel (maybe), and Beckham Jr.
