The Gipper
Soccer, rugby, soccer, cricket, soccer, tennis, soccer and more soccer. Absolutely, soccer dominates here, and pretty much everywhere. Whether you like the sport or not, you have to admire the way they've spread the sport and made it in to the money making machine it is today. NOT everywhere...in fact, not where it really counts. The US of Fucking A that is.
gftChris
pretty much everywhere != everywhere There are a few exceptions, such as 'Murica and India/south asia (cricket), and a few other places, but generally soccer is the first or second sport most places. gftChris
Sure, everywhere but the two largest Democracies on the planet..... The NFL is massively socialist by design - from the merchandising and tv rights being centrally held and profits divided equally regardless of team profitability, to the great equaliser of the draft. So what are you saying about democracy? Is it a communist plot to make everyone watch soccer?

Soccer fits right in.
DieHardBrownsFan
Soccer is extremely boring. I've tried to watch it, but fall asleep. Rugby on the other hand I like. Used to play for a few years and it it is a blast.

slimdawg
Maybe Mark Cuban was right when he said the NFL is over exposing itself. Road trip to Carolina or Atlanta for me this year for an away game. I've never been to Atlanta personally, but Charlotte is a pretty cool place.
