CLEinCHI
I know the draft is tomorrow, but some big news out of the NFL today is that Super Bowl Champion, Richard Sherman signed a 4 year extension worth $40M guaranteed, totaling 57.4 Million. With the bar now set for Sherman who is widely viewed as the #1 CB in the NFL, what does that mean for the Cleveland Browns's own CB, Joe Haden? CLEinCHI
That sounds about right, he is getting 8mil a year now, my guess is that it will be heavy in guaranteed money as the browns still have 29M in cap space for 2014 ...ps holy shit the Browns still have 29M in cap space
utzie
I'd say somewhere in the area of 4 yr 40M with 30M guaranteed.

dab7291993
Sherman has a distinct play and a distinct accomplishment behind that contract. He can say I made the play that clinched the Superbowl berth. He was part of the defense that shut Peyton Manning down for a Superbowl win. Joe Haden doesn't have that, at least not yet, so he doesn't have that leverage.
