Tim Couch Pulls Out Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Yesterday. And also Billy Cundiff. Fuck that baby faced ass-goblin.
Taco918 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I'm glad to see we're in mid season form.
hoorta Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Yesterday. And also Billy Cundiff. Fuck that baby faced ass-goblin. Clay feet don't work on a CB... I'm not sure he's even Arena League material. One of the worst performances I've ever seen by a CB. Toasted, deep fried, and then baked. Pretty easy to say who the next cut should be.
gftChris Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I don't even know who that is. If you watched the game, he was pretty unmissable.
Guest Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I don't even know who that is. Don't take the time ...
CLEinCHI Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I can't imagine him surviving the first cut, only reason he saw the field last night was because the Browns had 6 DB's not play....
Mudfly Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 He was already cut once just last month, which tells me they knew he wasn't good enough to consider for the team. Why they brought him back is anyones guess, but I doubt it was because they thought he'd make the team.....He was really just an extra body for practice and then all the DB injuries created an opportunity for him to play......(and, just like our top 2 QB's, opportunity blown)
The Gipper Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I think the only reason he got in there was because the Browns had at least 4-5 CBs on the shelf. Skrine, Desir among them, plus others. The one thing I guess at this point that I disagree with the NFL on is the fact that they probably carry too many players into training camp. I mean they have to take up big parts of these preseason game to figure out who are going to fill like the last 5 spots on the roster. I would rather they use these games to get those players that are going to play ready to play. The Browns have been unprepared for the season for too many years now. Lets have the guys who are going to play Pisstown in that first game ready to play Pisstown. Don't sit your starters for the entire 4th games (hell, there shouldn't be a 4th game). These 4th stringers like Royce Adams should already have been shown the door.
USFBrown Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 He gone... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/08/25/browns-trim-roster-to-76-players/ Browns trim roster to 76 playersPosted by Michael David Smith on August 25, 2014, 12:05 PM EDT APOne day before the NFL deadline for all teams to trim their rosters to 75 players, the Browns are down to 76. Cleveland announced that 14 players were cut from the 90 man roster today. It’s a fairly nondescript group of players, with no big names cut: DB Royce Adams, RBEdwin Baker, OL Randall Harris, DB T.J. Heath, DL Cam Henderson, WRJonathan Krause, OL Ryan Lee, LB Caleb McSurdy, OL Keavon Milton, LBKeith Pough, WR Tim Smith, OL Jeremiah Warren, TE Martell Webb and WR Anthony Armstrong. The Browns now have to make one more roster move before tomorrow afternoon. One possibility is that the NFL’s looming suspension of wide receiver Josh Gordon could come down today or tomorrow, which would get the Browns down to 75.
miktoxic Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 cut 3 WRs and 3 OL. either someone doesn't know howto scout players or they knew they needed help at those positions and brought in everyone and their mother.
The Gipper Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 A couple of slight surprises are the cuts of Edwin Baker and Anthony Armstrong.
Osiris Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 A couple of slight surprises are the cuts of Edwin Baker and Anthony Armstrong. Yeah I thought Armstrong would at least make the first round of cuts.
Tour2ma Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 A couple of slight surprises are the cuts of Edwin Baker and Anthony Armstrong. Yeah... Armstrong in particular. Love his heart, but Baker just isn't big enough. Plus Lewis ran pretty well Saturday...
