Flyin J Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 1A. Our D should be good enough to keep us in games, and possibly win a couple, and our running game is much better. B. Our offense is lost, and we have no depth on the o-line 2. The closest. Hollywood Columbus it is. 3. Keep Calm and Chive On! 4. Nope 5. Thats the biggest load of crap
Mudfly Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 1.A Name the two most positive things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep it to two and make it long and in depth: #1) Defensive line play and depth. I think they will keep us in a lot of low scoring games. Our best chance to win. #2) Improved running game. In our division and with no passing game, it will be refreshing if we can grind out some yards. B. Plus name the two most negative things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep to two and brief. #1) The horrible passing game. Seemingly "bad" quarterback play, coupled with really "bad" receiving.... #2) Offensive line depth. I like the big 3(Mack, Bitonio and Thomas), but there is a huge drop off after that..... 2. For those of you who partake, do you have a favorite casino? #1) Dont partake. Have had a fear of casinos since the time I was in St Louis and walked onto a "floating" casino to check it out.....then went to leave and discovered I was on a 3 hour cruise.....man, that sucked bad.... 3. Do you have a bumper sticker on your car, or a back window sticker. If so, what does it say? Zildjian Marrietta 4. Were you in a fraternity or sorority in college, formal or informa or are you in some kind of fraternal organization as an adult. If so what? nope 5. Have you or anyone you know taken this ice bucket challenge for ALS Awareness? If not, would you? My daughter did it just yesterday and posted the video on FB....thankfully she didnt challenge me. It would probably give me a heart attack or something....haha
The Gipper Posted August 19, 2014 Author Report Posted August 19, 2014 Here are some survey questions for this week. Give your answers and opinions: My own answers: 1.A Name the two most positive things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep it to two and keep it brief B. Plus name the two most negative things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep to two and brief. A. Positives: 1. The defense seems sturdy, and appears to have a lot of depth with very few exceptions. 2. The running game I think will be vastly improved with Tate and West B. Negatives 1. Obviously, Quarterback play. The most important position on the field may be the the one we are most up in the air with. 2. Wide receiver reliability. For all of the inaccurate throws that the QBs have made over the two preseason games, I have seen just as many or more drops by this WR corps, plus it seems that little effort is given to coming up with a catch when the throws are not perfect. (note...unlike some of you, I am not worried about or starting O Line. I think The Schwartz will end up doing fine. Behind the starters are questions though) 2. For those of you who partake, do you have a favorite casino? Locally here in NEO I have been to a couple, and I prefer the HardRock Casino out by Northfield to the Horseshoe Downtown. Nationally I like the Lakeside Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe, and I think I have to say I like Bally's in Vegas. We won enough money there to practically pay for the trip. (I have only been to Vegas like 3 times. Once for a week, twice for like one day on my way to somewhere else) 3. Do you have a bumper sticker on your car, or a back window sticker. If so, what does it say? I have stickers for my kids colleges Kenyon and Trinity. Plus, I have a Claddagh symbol on a magnet that sticks to the back of the car. 4. Were you in a fraternity or sorority in college, formal or informal or are you in some kind of fraternal organization as an adult. If so what? In undergrad I was in the fraternity of The Rats Roadies. Yea, informal, like I said. I law school I was a member of Tau Epsilon Rho. And I have been a Kiwanis member for many many years. 5. Have you or anyone you know taken this ice bucket challenge for ALS Awareness? If not, would you? I have not. Would I? Sure. But to do it I would have to have it posted on Youtube/Facebook, whatever. It does no good if the act cannot be seen or shared.
Tour2ma Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 1.A Name the two most positive things about the Browns you have seen so far. Do you have a bumper sticker on your car, or a back window sticker. If so, what does it say? Not at present... only one I've ever had was "CWRU Alumni"...4. Were you in a fraternity or sorority in college, formal or informa or are you in some kind of fraternal organization as an adult. If so what?College... no... did pledge a frat, but depledged. My Dorm had better intramural teams.Adult... was active in AICHe (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) and served on a couple committees. Was also active in HAGA (Houston Amateur Golf Association).5. Have you or anyone you know taken this ice bucket challenge for ALS Awareness? Guest Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 1.A Name the two most positive things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep it to two and keep it brief Two of our top 3 picks look like they are going to be bonafide starters from the get-go (Gilbert and Boitano) and the defensive line looks healthy, ready, and prepared to explode big time. B. Plus name the two most negative things about the Browns you have seen so far. Keep to two and brief. The offense looks like it didn't realize it would be playing actual football games. And ... we're not going to at least try to upgrade kicker or punter? 2. For those of you who partake, do you have a favorite casino? They are all kind of the same to me. 3. Do you have a bumper sticker on your car, or a back window sticker. If so, what does it say? No. I prefer the clean look. 4. Were you in a fraternity or sorority in college, formal or informa or are you in some kind of fraternal organization as an adult. If so what? No, I was GDI at IUP. 5. Have you or anyone you know taken this ice bucket challenge for ALS Awareness? If not, would you? Several people I know have done it. I would rather write the check.
hurley09 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 1) A: D looked good. Running game is much better. Bonus 3rd: Connor Shaw is a goddamn legend B: Neither Hoyer nor Manziel have done anything good. Kicker could be better 2) Only been to casinos on resorts in Domincan Republic and Puerto Rico, never been to a real one. Maybe once they build that MGM in National Harbor (about 10 miles from me here in Virginia) I'll swing through. 3) Do bus ads count? 4) Nope 5) My girlfriend did it and then nominated me for it. I had no idea what it was for but I did it just avoid her "Why won't you do this? What do you not love me or something?" She's a gem.
Taco918 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 1A) D looks good, running game looks good. 1B) QB, the curse of Greg Little 2) N/A 3) I've only had two, my alma mater OSU (Ok St, the only good one) and my fraternity letters. As for now? None. 4) Phi Delta Theta. My chapter just got kicked off campus for repeated alcohol violations. Glad to see nothing has changed. 5) Nope and possibly if they asked me a couple of weeks ago when it was pushing 110 outside. Now? Highly unlikely.

The Gipper Posted August 21, 2014 Author Report Posted August 21, 2014 No, but plenty of other things do. You confuse being an asshole with being a pain in your ass. Yes, I am a pain in your ass....because you hate truth, justice, and the American way. Is your real name Lex Luthor?
