Oldcrow1945
I don't think Sanchez gets past San Fran. Don't count our Cleamons as the Jets QB. They may just bring in a veteran to compete with him. I can see Anderson in NY before I see them spending their #1 pick on him. IMO, I don't think QB is their biggest need. I really don't think Clemens is in NY's plans after seeing him start several games. He was awful at times. 5 TD's to 10 INT's and a 60 rating. I think he's a career back up. I'd bet anything that the Jets are working hard at bringing in a new starter. Weather it be Stafford, Sanchez, Anderson, etc.
Guest Aloysius
Back to Sanchez's arm strength, here are two reports on how he looked at the Combine: Mark Sanchez: When breaking Sanchez down on film it is obvious he struggles getting the pass down field and the ball loses a lot of velocity on throws outside of 25-yards. He did nothing to quell that criticism today. In the end Sanchez just does not have a big time NFL arm. Mark Sanchez/USC - Did not look good throughout the session. Sanchez's passes were highly inaccurate on all of his out routes. His deep passes faded in the air. And he was simply not able to get into any rhythm, especially outside of the hashes
