The Cysko Kid Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 So now all of a sudden guys are coming out of the woodwork to say how whipping children is part of black culture. I'd like to hear the thoughts on this from those who called me racist for criticizing violence in black culture.
calfoxwc Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 They were out of line. It's pretty well documented, and commented on by some pretty famous people, who happen to also be black.
Westside Steve Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Probably economics and education have a lot to do with it as well as black culture.
calfoxwc Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 how about black culture attitudes towards economics and education ????
The Cysko Kid Posted September 16, 2014 Author Report Posted September 16, 2014 Except guys like Charles Barkley straight up said it's part of black culture
The Cysko Kid Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Posted September 17, 2014 I know certain people are so terrified to touch on this subject but now it's not just random white guy #4 saying it. I'm not surprised the usual suspects are conspicuously quiet.
LogicIsForSquares Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 I would say it is a Southern thing. Almost all the talk around the water cooler was about how it was "normal" stuff that happened growing up. Every person saying that was Southern and white.
htownbrown Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 I would say it is a Southern thing. Almost all the talk around the water cooler was about how it was "normal" stuff that happened growing up. Every person saying that was Southern and white. It is a southern thing. Its been almost entirely abandoned over the past 25 years or so. Sort of like paddling in school. My uncle used to refer to the 'switch' as the attitude adjuster. It was. I only got it once, but im sure AP gave it to his son harder than anyone I knew. Thats extreme.
Westside Steve Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 I graduated in 70. One of my favorite teachers used the paddle at least once a week. At the end of the year I won that paddle since it was used on me the most, I surpassed the next guy in line by one whack. BFD. AP went over the line, certainly, but is it grounds to take away a man's career? WSS
MLD Woody Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 His career includes being a public figure.
LogicIsForSquares Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 Yeah as soon as he tied his livelihood to being a public figure, he started being held to a different standard. He essentially is on the clock 24/7.
The Cysko Kid Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Posted September 17, 2014 I do not that it's largely the Child-less of any given race defending abuseiran beaterson. You don't do a four year old like that, period. peterson should try being a father more than once a month if you want the kids to act right. I think a condition of peterson keeping his job is he should be required to be caned like Michael p. Fay.
The Cysko Kid Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Posted September 17, 2014 If I had to guess Petersons I.q. I'd put it around 70. I Honestly don't think he understands what he's done
calfoxwc Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 He needs a year to learn how to be a real human being and deal with stress constructively.
Westside Steve Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 He needs a year to learn how to be a real human being and deal with stress constructively. I don't think you can change your nature. All he can do is try very hard to resist the urge to smack the kid. WSS
Browns149 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 I was paddled in school. But I wasn't 4 years old. I was 11 A 4 year old has very little grasp of right and wrong. Only what they have seen from their parets, really When I was paddled, I knew EXACTLY why, a 4 year old does not. I never threw a firecracker out of the school bus again. Lesson learned

Lesson learned I think a couple swats will let a 4 year old know his immediate actions are unacceptable.A shout and a quick whack should do the trick, I don't think a prolonged and bloody beating should be in order. DieHardBrownsFan Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 I used to throw cherry bombs down the school toilet. These were real cherry bombs and M80's, not the replica ones they sell now.
