JewDago
they used the tag to buy themselves time to work out a long-term deal. nothing terribly surprising about it, but it means that there's one less FA RB that we can take a shot at. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3905947

JewDago
ward will command quite some coin on the FA market this year despite the facts that he's got an injury history, hasn't really proven much, and is kind of old because he was part of such an effective ground attack in new york. however, because we don't have the surrounding RB cast to make him effective, i think we'd be better served going after an almost equally effective player in deshaun foster who likely won't cost nearly as much. the only problem with that is that foster is similar to harrison, which means we have no thunder-type back and have to hope we end up with either shonn greene or rashad jennings in the second (or third if we get a third and jennings falls that far).
