calfoxwc
A. Some smart guns use electrical circuitry. B. Take any two magnets - move them closer and closer until they react to each other. Try N-N, S-S....and N-S, and S-N. C. Note the distance. D. I'm fine with smart guns, unless this or any gov tries to force their use. I ain't a gonna use em. E. As in, a pitbull or druggie with a knife has you by the left arm, and your smart gun won't work in your right hand. Yeah, not so smart. F. "F" is for the stupid idea from silly liberals who don't know how to critically think about their lofty, "special" ideas.
LogicIsForSquares
I personally am not going to add anything to a device that already has potential for failure. Especially not something that will make the firearm completely incapable of firing.
The Cysko Kid
I'll give the magnets a whirl without prejudice if they can make the price right. I Won't be turning in my old ones yet though.
MLD Woody
It would be interesting to take a look at the specs and design of a smart gun, and do some research on the subject. No physics degree, but mechanical engineering inst too far off
MLD Woody
It doesn't make it true either. Regardless of how anyone else wants to think about the issue that concerns woody so much Cal chooses to agree with the minority of scientists who don't seem quite as alarmed. WSS Minority of scientists makes it sound bigger than it is... I just think its funny that NOW the scientific studies are ok, lol. (and, that's assuming the study he posted even helps support his case. I didn't read the abstract or any of the report so I couldn't tell you)
