dawg2fan
Could the shifting of our Oline be the issue on Offense? Also, what about our D? I have never seen so many injuries on our D as a Browns fan.
darkside5
I said in an earlier thread that the read option is disastrous on the big boys, Big guys moving laterally in all that traffic is going to get you hurt. We need to shore up the O-line and go back to power football north and south running with PAP. I agree with your assessment. GO BROWNS !
Tour2ma
Read-option? We did not lose any O-line running the read option. We barely ran the read-option all year. We suffered injury to three centers. Two of them, Mack and McDonald were lost in very similar situations, blocking a few yards downfield when the play ran up the back of their legs. Not sure about Seymore's injury... not looked at it as yet. In any case the above scenario can occur in any run scheme. It may be second only to injuries in pass protection where legs are fallen on from behind.
