SkippinTurtles
Just an off-season thought. Give Marino the best play-off kicker ever and a top-5 all-time defense and he wins the first 3 like Brady. Put him against a banged up Seahawks secondary with his sick release he shreds them. Marino vs. E. Manning and those average Giant teams. 6 rings. Could play this game with a lot of QB's. Marino just seemed like a strong example. WalterWhite
...and if Byner doesn't fumble at the 2 we win the Super Bowl? What the fuck is your point? This is outside of reality and all theoretical.

And if the Pats don't have Tom Brady they don't even get to one SB, let alone 6. Nonetheless....I agree with your premise. Marino did not have the kind of defenses that Brady had....and he may have won some SBs if he had.

Tour2ma
If you ignore the facts that Marino had a lower TD% and a half again higher INT% than Brady... then sure.

If Marino was protected by the league the same way that Brady was, I'd expect those stats to change. Also, What does Brady look like in the Marino era NFL? SkippinTurtles
Montana didn't look like he juiced. Brady sure acts like he does. Calm down, Tom.

The Gipper
dumbest fucking thread of all time No, it can be fun to speculate on such things. Example, a common question that has been asked is: What, if, in 1970, the Steelers had taken Mike Phipps with the #1 pick instead of #3 to the Browns? (there was speculation that that could happen.) Would it be Mike Phipps sitting with 4 SB rings instead of Bradshaw? Or was Bradshaw the glue that put it all together for the Steelers. Or would the Browns have been a heavy hitter with Bradshaw playing here? All just fun speculation. Do you deny that Marino could have taken the Dolphins any further if that team had any kind of decent defense?

SkippinTurtles
Kosar was a more talented passer than Brady. Switch them and Kosar beats Eli both times. Seriously, Eli?

Bob806
Marino was at his best with Duper & Clayton, once they were gone he wasn't anything special IMHO.
The Cysko Kid
Brady does not look like he juices. However from what I've read he only eats like a raw diet and his options for "treats" are a raw macaroon or avocado ice cream. He's probably aggressive because he's half starved. The Gipper
Lmao. We all loved Bernie but he was not ever better than brady Intellectually I believe they are close.....but Brady had other advantages. He has been far more durable. Overall better in the clutch. Kosar suffered arm injuries that hurt him. Brady has not had that, though he had the knee one year.
