It's being framed as either we spend more money on the Department of Homeland Defense or not. Republicans want to block the president's apparently illegal policy of flooding the country with the illegal aliens. Doesn't it seem ironic that those two things are at odds with each other over actual security? Imagine Bush or Reagan attempting to usurp power from Congress all unto themselves, and going all out with "executive orders" the left would be blasting from every outlet all over the country.
