Without opening any links, my first reaction is John 11:35.

Then I opened the very first link. http://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2015/03/daily-chart-5

There is truth, but some flawed premises.

Immigration has not ushered in the era of white decline. Massive illegal immigration from Mexico and central/south american countries are shiftign the white/western euro descendent toward the hispanic/mestizo/whatever but a main cause is that many white couples are not breeding at replacement rate.

Whitey was told, primarily by liberals in the 1970s that it was wrong to continue with families of 3-5 kids (2.something is replacement rate) and virtually everyone outside of the LDS sects bought into it. So due to lack of population replacement caucasian numbers would be shrinking. It's rare to see large Catholic families in the last generation - even the Catholics bought into the secular quasi religion of being good to the earth - don't populate.

The black population holds steady because at 14% of the population they are 30% or more of the abortions. If 1.2 million babies are aborted in the US each year (give or take) that is 360,000 black children aborted every year. To put it into perspective, that would be aborting (or replacing if they were born) the population of Cleveland each year.

Compare that to 1st or 2nd generation illegal immigrants. They still have their traditional brood size. Hispanics by and large have large families. Muslims regardless of their race will have large families.

So, what we might consider the "native" or "white" population is being outbred as well as the amount of people brought in to the U.S. White America at some point made a conscious choice to limit having children, or not having children, or having it's women pursue careers until they reach an age where their eggs are cooked and it's too late so they have 10 cats instead.

It's the whole gamut of problems. And, I agree with you, Mo, at that point.

Meanwhile... Russia is not just pretending to be po'd at any kind of resistance

to their plans to expand back towards where the soviet kind of power used to be:

Why do you have so much animus towards Putin?

If you compare his actions and the actions of the US, which country is dealing with problems close to home and which is promoting rampant military adventurism abroad?

Let me give you a hint - even at the Soviet's peak, they weren't as expansionist as the United States.

a lot of the blathering shows like Yawn Vanity have tried to restart the cold war, and with it the Putin is evil theme.

Thinking Putin/Russia is bad for exerting themselves in The Ukraine and then wanting the U.S. to put "boots on the ground" and "take Decisive Action" against ISIS/ISIL, Depose Bashar Al Assad (or is he a good bad guy now that ISIS is a pest) is a perfect example of cognitive dissonance.

About a year ago cal was saying how great putin was and how much of a better leader than Obamao blah blah blah so I'm interested to hear this.

It's OK if the USA tries to force our way of living on others, but if another country tries that, it's bad, and it's Obama's fault

Oh, baloney. I've never liked Putin. I'm the guy who read "Biological Weapons and America's Secret War - GERMS".

It's about how we signed a treaty, and they went UNDERGROUND and dramatically stepped up their secret lab development

of bigweapons in direct violation of said treaty, for a big strategic advantage.

Iran would do the exact same thing.

And Mo,

Noun

1.
the doctrine or practice of expanding the economyor territory of a country"

So, the US is not trying to take over Canada, or Cuba, or Mexico, or any place in the Caribbean,

but Russia is reverting to historical soviet ownership of several countries to buoy it's own economy ...

Ukraine, Poland, the Baltic States, the list is long.

http://noisyroom.net/blog/2014/02/28/the-clear-and-present-danger-of-russian-expansionism/

We're talking more Crimeas.....while Russia can depend on a coward in our WH to vote "present",

pretty much encouaging our enemies to go for broke during his next two years. They will never have

this chance again, maybe. And all indications are, they are doing everything they can to nullify any opposition

to their goals of a new soviet world power. And, their economy is in shambles, and the russians are desperate

to get back their soviet sphere of control. That's marxism. That is why millions of innocent folks starved to death,

in the Ukraine, formerly the breadbasket of Europe. It's the way Stalin make marxism work.

Take everything from wherever it is, and use it to make your home country work.

BTW, go look at the difference between how the russian army raped and pillaged half of Germany,

and then go look and see how the US Military truly liberated them.

Flipping reality doesn't work with me. And go read the book I mentioned, again, for a serious dose of

vicious reality in the world.

Russia has a justified interest in the Ukraine.

I'll repeat myself.

The "original sin" in the Ukraine was outside influence being used to oust an elected president of The Ukraine. Russia wasn't party that ousted Viktor Yanukovych. Prior to that ouster the Russian used the Crimea region - it has the only year round port for the Russian Navy.

I'll repost something from another thread

Imagine this scenario. The United Nations persuades the U.S. to let Texas secede and become it's own nation. There are some tensions, but by and large Texas and the U.S. still get along, and companies within the U.S. still invest in Texas infrastructure.

Ten years into the future Rick Perry runs against Sheila Jackson Lee for Imperial Ruler of Texas. Rick Perry wins handily. Some politicians halfway across the globe decide to place agitators in Texas, and in some coup Imperial Ruler Perry is thrown out. Mexico invades and Texas divides into factions.

Due to a sudden Maunder Minimum, the Gulf of May-Hee-Co becomes the only year round, warm water section for the U.S. and US has a Naval Base in Galveston. Would the U.S., given it's past history with Texas and the fact that it has commercial and military assets in Texas be wrong to provide troops and aid to a Texas group repelling the Mexican invasion?

And what would we think of foreign nations half a world away providing aid to the Mexicans and their allies in Texas?

That "imagine" story about our country? When is it that we ever were a

"soviet union" country with domination and ownership of all the countries around us?

Because that is what happened with the soviets. They couldn't keep their socialist state afloat

without dominating and taking the wealth by force, Baltic and other countries.

I remember the tanks rolling into Czechoslovakia sp?

And when was it when a president of the US decided to commit genocide, and murder millions

through taking every bit of food and wealth they had, by starvation? (STALIN DID).

Russia has never had a justified ownership or control over the Ukraine.

"Original Sin" ?????? Seriously ?????
