Shithead goes on rampage

and of course, he was black, probably had sharpton rally for him to be

treated, or else they would sue the hospital for "discrimation"....

black subcultural entitlement never ends. It just grows.

Just my guess - entitlement activism. Med insurance?

Probably just my own recollection of when I got my knee

major surgery in the ninth grade.

After my surgery, I was still getting pain shots a day or two later,

and all of a sudden I heard yelling, and whoosh, my bed was moved

out into the hall and I lost my room.

Because, I found out later, (this is in the sixties...), a loudmouth, nasty black

woman was raising hell about her son not having a room, and she demanded

one right across the hall from the nurses' station or she'd sue the hospital for

discrimination. They were on welfare.

My excellent surgeon showed up an hour later, (he was the orthopedic director

of the Board...), walked up to me and indignantly asked "what is THIS?"

I told him what I knew, and then the stuff hit the fan. He was ordering nurses

to put me right back in my room, that kid was back out of my room, and he

was really, really upset. All sorts of nurses were apologizing to me, and scurrying

frantically.... it was really a wild scene.

Well, he was lecturing them loudly, etc etc etc.

then came into my room, sat down and smiled, and apologized. I told him what happened,

and he shook his head, and said that will not ever happen again. I asked about the kid,

and he said a room would be opening up in about two hours, and that kid will have his

own room - they don't ever play favorites with treating patients - every single kid, no matter

what color or rich or poor, was entitled to the best of care. And he apologized for that happening,

and that he'd go explain to the other kid that it wasn't me that complained for him to have to wait.

It just happened that time, that all the ortho ward was full for two hours.

too bad that kid had a parent that pulled the race card for no good reason.

My parents came in while he was there, and he explained to them. They said they understood,

but that if I gave the nurses any more trouble, to move me out to the parking lot, and give that kid

my room again. haha. haha. That was a reference to me refusing to take more than one sip of

their nasty ginger ale after I got into my room after surgery. I wanted root beer, so a nurse went and bought me one....across the street......

But then I grew up later. Now, sprite or coke would also work for me..........
