Guest Masters
Keep it up coach. http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/cotm_brown_090302.html Brown led the Cavaliers to an Eastern Conference-best 9-3 (.750) record during the month, which marked the Cavaliers best February since the 1995-96 season when the team went 10-2. The team’s 46-12 record overall is their best start in franchise history. While going 4-1 at The Q (an NBA-best 26-1 for the season) this month, Cleveland also went 5-2 on the road (20-11 on the road during the season, an Eastern Conference best). During February, Cleveland led the Eastern Conference in point differential (7.7) and held their opponents to conference lows in points (89.1) and opponent field goal percentage (.435) while ranking second in opponent three-point percentage (.318) and third in opponent rebounding (38.9). At home, they held opponents to an Eastern Conference-best 86.6 points on only .433 shooting while averaging 98.8 points. The Cavaliers opened the month by winning their first three games from Feb. 1-Feb. 4 and ran off five straight victories from Feb. 11-Feb. 24. Guest ATENEARS
I thought Brown did a nice job in preparing the team for Wade tonight. Wade had big numbers, but we made a few adjustments on him here and there, and I think we then put what we learned into our back pocket and used it to get key stops down the stretch. One of the better coached games of the year tonight, IMO.
