DTBH
Or if he didn't constantly miss out on rebounds or allow layups because he's scared to get physical? If he did that, he'd average 15 rebounds a game or something and 4 measely double-doubles wouldn't be news. Great game by our best players, Mo and LeBron last night. Great 4th quarter defensive effort by Delonte and Andy.

If he did that, he'd average 15 rebounds a game or something and 4 measely double-doubles wouldn't be news. Great game by our best players, Mo and LeBron last night. Great 4th quarter defensive effort by Delonte and Andy. Yet his and V's interior D at the close of the last 2 games, and the interior all of the SA game was steller (just as it is most games). Z ain't scared of physical nor does he constantly miss out on rebounds, or allow layups. That is just straight hatin'. You could say the same things then about Dirk, Yao, P. Gasol, or Kareem back in the day. Yet they all get the job done on O and D in the NBA, with success. Throwing their body all over the place on D or O just ain't their game. They ain't gonna be Howard or Shaq (who is). It's not their game. This hatin' on Z is as silly as if I hated on Bron for not posting up dudes all day (or almost ever), when he can do, should do it, and as a MJ fan should know that is how MJ really ate dudes up during his championship runs. Or, to put it in football terms, it would be like Charger fans complaining that Sproles doesn't run over people. Z gets a lot of boards that don't get counted. The skill to time and time again tip the ball to another teammate next to him or all the way out on the wing is vastly under appreciated.
