Samari Rolle has overcome epileptic seizures and a midseason neck surgery during his four years as a Ravens starting cornerback, however, Rolle told The Baltimore Sun that he will be released by the team Monday.

Rolle, 32, envisioned a lesser role after the team signed Domonique Foxworth on the first day of free agency.

"I anticipate [the release] happening. I'm happy," Rolle said. "Everyone got what they wanted out of this. I wish the Ravens nothing but the best of luck."

According to The Sun, Rolle has been asked to take a physical at Ravens headquarters Monday, which is usually the last step before being released. General manager Ozzie Newsome would confirm only that the team is meeting with Rolle that day.

I think that we should take a shot at him. He is a solid cornerback and would be great for us to get. He may cost to much, but to me he is worth it. I think that Mankok should throw the money at him because they have the cap space. BUT NO ROSTER BONUSES!
