Guest Masters
Despite the claims of BQ love and all the exagerations Lummy makes, this sums up what most of our feelings have been. OconRecon
Despite the claims of BQ love and all the exagerations Lummy makes, this sums up what most of our feelings have been. "It's time for Brady Quinn to ride in, even if he, too, might get his horse shot out from under him." http://www.cleveland.com/budshaw/index. ... mblin.html Just read that. True. And Terry Pluto's blog: "I hated that while watching the game, I knew that either Baltimore rookie quarterback Joe Flacco would make a key mistake, or it would it be the Browns' Derek Anderson -- and I had a terrible feeling it would be Anderson. And I bet some of you did, too. I hate it that after 26 pro starts, Anderson lost his poise and Flacco (the rookie) did not." http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/blog/ind ... _from.html AND "The quarterback had a bad day marred by poor decisions when it meant the most. Now, the Browns are 3-5. Even worse, they are 1-3 in the AFC North. That reeks of rebuilding, on a countdown until Brady Quinn starts. In fact, it would not be a bad idea to start the clock on Quinn now. If he doesn't start Thursday against Denver, it should be the following game at Buffalo. With playoff dreams fading, the Browns need to find a clear picture of who should be the quarterback next season. That can only happen if Quinn plays, and plays a lot for the rest of the year." http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/blog/ind ... _this.html

damajuki
Those quotes do in fact sum it up. Look, this game was pathetic on every level but the blame falls on the HC and QB. AGAIN. I'm just watching it now and it's pissing me off knowing that we blew a game we SHOULD HAVE WON, at HOME, against the F'ING TURDBIRDS. The playoff chase is over, if it ever actually began. The Jax win looked big until today. Now they too are out of it. The reality, as Pluto pointed out so sickeningly accurately, is that we are 1-3 in the division and we've lost both to the Ravens, who now own the tiebreaker against us in any playoff scenario. Thanks to our awful day, we are pretty much fuquayed. And the worst part? We threw the season away so we could see what soon-to-be career backup Derek Anderson could do even though we saw pretty clearly what he could NOT do at the end of last year, which is win any game we actually NEED to win. Put this one in that column now too.

Derek Anderson is just good enough to get you beat. BTW, does anyone in Cleveland besides Romeo Crennell think that Anderson should still be starting?
