mohican
In this case, the evil is brought by the progressives. A sidenote of caution - this is enabled by laws meant to fight "the war on drugs" and "the war on terror". If you think circumventing rights and protections asserted in state and federal bills of rights is ok to catch terrorist, then watch out. If you hold a strong opinion on something you could be next. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/417155/wisconsins-shame-i-thought-it-was-home-invasion-david-french

Clevfan4life
i'm at work, I can't read the whole article right now. Can someone please give cliff notes....what was the reason given by LE for those raids? And how did they get away with saying don't tell no one about this? These were not federals right? mohican
1. This started as an investigation into missing funds. 2. The prosecutor, who is married to a Teachers Union Rep branched out into investigation "conservatives" who were helping Gov. Walker with Wisconsin prop 10 or whatever it was called. In a decent society, someone that closely involved would step aside ie abcuse himself because of personal reasons. His offices are apparently littered with Union Power posters. 3. Wisconsin has kept it's ability to have "john doe" investigations, this goes back years. 4. These were Milwaukee prosecutors/cops and are not Federal Cops. Feds where involved at least with the first person- http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/129801878.html The investigation was that they where preforming political tasks for Walker while on the clock for county duties. Clevfan4life
gestapo tactics to a T. I would have zero issue with anyone opening fire at any law enforcement that followed those orders. Sorry. I feel the same way about cops asked to bust up raw milk co ops or raid amish farms that bartered with each other for organic food. You do something you "know" is corrupt to the core, you forfeit the right to have value affixed to your existence.

If the FBI was involved then Wisconsins John Doe laws and admonitions that they "could not tell anyone" would have to go out the window. At least they would if the Bill of Rights were still a functioning piece of our system.
Clevfan4life
stuff like this should "infuriate" anyone no matter what side their on. You can't be outraged by stuff like this but when it happens on the west coast to a bunch of hippies who want to drink raw ass I mean raw goat milk....say haha fucking hippys. If I could link here I would provide for you multitudes of links where raids like this happened to co op farmers and various other non criminal people under both republican and democrat controlled governorships across the country. Using state police to enforce bullshit "commerce clause" violations is a favorite tactic employed by state agencies that do the bidding of special interests. When hippy's against the Iraq war got raided Obama was still in Chicago. Nonsense to think this is something new. Our govt has been doing this since the 20's. Prohibition remember that? Still naïve to think that was about people drinking alcohol?
