hoorta
Fairness? This is a money making business. They don't give a flying fuck about fairness. They give plenty. Get real- like who is going to stay up late this year- short of a football junkie- to watch Tampa play Carolina on Sunday night?
wargograw
The SNF game this week is San Fran and the Giants. Last week it was Dallas and New Orleans. Both arguably worse games than the one you laid out. If fairness doesn't matter lets scrap the rules about the draft order, salary cap, waivers, etc.
Tim Couch Pulls Out
Get real- like who is going to stay up late this year- short of a football junkie- to watch Tampa play Carolina on Sunday night? Probably Tampa fans. And Carolina fans. And FSU fans. And anyone who cares about football who lives in the south. And Cam Newton fantasy owners. And Doug Martin fantasy owners. And every bar in Charlotte. And every bar in Tampa. I think that just about covers it.

I don't see what you're getting your panties in a bunch over. When they are both bad, more people will watch Dallas on prime time than will watch Cleveland...that's just the way it is. wargograw
Yes I'm well aware it's for ratings. I get it. Just saying there are plenty of other ways to boost ratings at the expense of fairness if ratings are the primary concern.
