Mike H Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Really like this kid. He's a true dual-threat QB, not a runner or pure passer, and he's good at both. I'm in this camp for now, until Goff wins me over.
Tour2ma Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 lmao... Dak is my 2016 sleeper. The kid has made progress every year, but the leap he made in 2015 was really something.
Guest Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I get a lot of SEC down here and I remember thinking he was a stud in 2014, but don't remember much about him in 2015. Physically gifted and good leader. Z
LogicIsForSquares Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I have watched more of Prescott. I had previously had a pretty 'meh' opinion of him but have actually liked his play the more I watched. I wouldn't hate if he was a mid round pick in addition to Goff.

The Gipper Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Where would you take him? What round? Third? (Russell Wilson territory?)
Mudfly Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 The kid has made progress every year, but the leap he made in 2015 was really something. Might be the best thing about him....his ability to learn and get better....because his weaknesses are all correctable..... Physically gifted and good leader. Good combination......might be our ticket to a first round defender....
bbedward Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Where would you take him? What round? Third? (Russell Wilson territory?) I think so - 3rd or 4th. I think he's rougher around the edges than russell wilson was, but he's got the physical tools and the potential.
LogicIsForSquares Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Where would you take him? What round? Third? (Russell Wilson territory?) 3rd-4th round would likely be the ball park. If he was around in the fifth, Prescott would be a steal.
Tour2ma Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Agree on the 3rd round, but this QB class is heating up. There is some talk now about 5 going in the first round.
bbedward Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Agree on the 3rd round, but this QB class is heating up. There is some talk now about 5 going in the first round. If that's the case we better just settle for Goff then
The Gipper Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 If that's the case we better just settle for Goff then Settling.....yes, that is the right word.
bbedward Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Settling.....yes, that is the right word. I was saying if the liquor store doesn't have any bushmills in stock so I'll "settle" for some macallan 25. (Goff being the macallan)
Westside Steve Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I was saying if the liquor store doesn't have any bushmills in stock so I'll "settle" for some macallan 25. (Goff being the macallan) Of course you know that's two distinctly different types of liquor, correct? WSS
bbedward Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Of course you know that's two distinctly different types of liquor, correct? WSS Yea - distinctly different types of quarterbacks. I couldn't think of any cheap scotch since I don't usually buy any.
Westside Steve Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Yea - distinctly different types of quarterbacks. I couldn't think of any cheap scotch since I don't usually buy any. There are plenty of middle-of-the-road bottles of Scotch of their power. Black and white, Cutty Sark etc. And some pretty good ones like Johnny Red, Dewar and such. But look way down on the bottom shelf and you will find Queen Anne! WSS
Tour2ma Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Blendeds suck... just like running QBs...
Westside Steve Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Just to bicker I would say that different styles of quarterback would be like different styles of single malt. You have your McAllen the strong sweet pocket passer and you have Lagavulin the fiery smoky aggressive bottle. A blend would be somebody who could run a little bit and pass a little bit in equal measure. Like your boy Prescott. Queen Anne or Chivas Regal? :ad WSS
LogicIsForSquares Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 This is about to become a liquor camp thread.
Tim Couch Pulls Out Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Prescott is interesting as a mid-round guy.
TexasAg1969 Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 This is about to become a liquor camp thread. We need to go up to the CFL for that guy Canadian Mist.
LogicIsForSquares Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Thought I would toss up some game footage for people to peruse.
The Gipper Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I was saying if the liquor store doesn't have any bushmills in stock so I'll "settle" for some macallan 25. (Goff being the macallan) Goff being Wild Turkey is more like it.
The Gipper Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I want a QB that will be Dailuane. http://www.scotchwhisky.net/distilleries/dailuaine.htm
gumby73 Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Mize well go straight whiskey with Cody Kessler @ QB. A lot will be needed.
Mike H Posted February 12, 2016 Author Report Posted February 12, 2016 Where would you take him? What round? Third? (Russell Wilson territory?)4th
Tim Couch Pulls Out Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I'll admit, the most appealing part of this is saying "Get ready to suck some Dak".
