OldBrownsFan Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 I would have stayed with the old punch ballots. The problem with the hanging chads was really not a problem except one that we made into a problem. In a close election if there is a recount the only thing they really need to look for is if the punch broke completely through. Any mere indentations would not count. Simple enough and voters should be knowledgeable enough to know you have to punch through a ballot. I have more concerns over electronic voting then I ever did with punch ballots. I hear stories over and over about problems with electronic voting. bbedward Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Electronic ballots would be nice if they weren't corrupted, but they are. They're designed and implemented by companies that contribute big money to political campaigns.
