I did not draft lower than a B minus ............. I think everyone did really well

My fave draft goes to the Tennessee Titans

What is intriguing is that someone could grade a draft an A while the same one could be graded a C by someone else....all about opinions

I did not draft lower than a B minus ............. I think everyone did really well

Handing out participation awards??? ;)

AFC North (Overall: B-)

Baltimore Ravens C - Reached for Spence at #6 and went downhill from there.

Cincinatti Bengals B- Very questionable talent early; 2nd half of draft saves them.

Cleveland Browns B Hit on 3 of first five, but failed to improve OL and secondary inexplicably opting for QB and TE late.

Pittsburgh Steelers B+ Scary good defensive draft filling needs with high value mid-round picks.

AFC SOUTH (Overall: B+)

Houston Texans C- Draft-Lite

Indianapolis Colts Mine

Jacksonville Jaguars A Despite some late duplication, I really like this draft's 4-starter potential...

Tennessee Titans A+ Anything following Tunsil and Doctson is a bonus.... and there are a couple strong bonuses here.

AFC EAST (Overall: C)

Buffalo Bills C+ Too many "ifs" in this talent, but has "steal" potential mid and late...

Miami Dolphins B- Early reach followed by solid middle

New York Jets C- Would you really want your draft to hinge on Lee? Listenbee is a nice mid pick.

New England Patriots B- Bill may be losing it. Roller coaster of a draft.

AFC WEST (Overall: B)

Denver Broncos B+ Really high value board throughout; but for the Punter could have been an "A"...

Kansas City Chiefs B- A lot of potential impact here, but hard to tell from where it will come. Boom/Bust buffet...

Oakland Raiders B+ I'm not a Stanley fan, but like enough other picks to give benefit of doubt to this GM

San Diego Chargers B- Did not like Oakman before his recent legal troubles... otherwise solid, if not spectacular, draft.

NFC later....

Cincinatti Bengals B- Very questionable talent early; 2nd half of draft saves them.

Cleveland Browns B Hit on 3 of first five, but failed to improve OL and secondary inexplicably opting for QB and TE late. So many needs...anything they took at any point will fill certain holes.

Pittsburgh Steelers B+ Scary good defensive draft filling needs with high value mid-round picks. That is their history...making solid mid round picks (unlike the Browns) Hopefully they miss this time around.

AFC SOUTH

Houston Texans C- Draft-Lite....By this I assume you mean simply that they didn't have that many picks.

Indianapolis Colts Mine

Jacksonville Jaguars A Despite some late duplication, I really like this draft's 4-starter potential...

Tennessee Titans A+ Anything following Tunsil and Doctson is a bonus.... and there are a couple strong bonuses here.

Of course, this grade is irrelevent now.

AFC EAST

Buffalo Bills C+ Too many "ifs" in this talent, but has "steal" potential mid and late... Every single player taken is an "If"...and every single player taken after round 3 could be a "steal".

Miami Dolphins B- Early reach followed by solid middle

New York Jets C- Would you really want your draft to hinge on Lee? Listenbee is a nice mid pick.

New England Patriots B- Bill may be losing it. Roller coaster of a draft. (of course...it wasn't Bill doing the picking...was it?)

Instead of busting somebody's balls I've decided to grade in divisions. It helps to totally evaluate a draft IMO if your respective teams drafted within the realms of winning their division. That's the ticket, win your division make your run.

AFC North

Pittsburgh is the team to beat with Cinn. right behind them. The rest is what it is. The Ravens always play very physical like the other teams and all matchup well together except for the Browns. Browns need to get physical and Hue knows this.

C

Browns get Bose and Floyd. That's the best draft in their division. What's up with all the Seventh rd TE's?

AFC South

This division used to run on you all the time. But that's changed in the last couple of seasons. With all the teams except Houston getting their franchise via the draft qb's it's got the division in transition.

Tenn. nailed it great job. But Houston didn't draft a qb. Oz is the man but their has to be a contingency plan. Jacksonville is good too.

B+

AFC East

The Pats division. Just try to beat the Pats and stay close. If their is a divisional matchup its big every week for every team now that Ryan is in Buff.

B

Drafting the Lines on all teams and early running backs is a good move for every team here. Either GMs were paying attention or just luck good job.

AFC West

Wouldve gave the Broncos an A if they didn't get Coker in the Seventh. They could've grabbed someone higher with more upside. The Raiders drafted 3 Notre Dame guys. Lol

Houston just took Brock Osweiler in free agency and is paying him a ton of cash to be their QB of the future. That is far more settled than RG being the Browns QB of the future...so, no, no QB was drafted by them (yes, I was their GM)

Tour Kiper where are you NFC grades ?

Was busy fixing my hair... Here ya go...

NFC North
Chicago Bears A+ There is great value throughout this very-true-to-the-Bears- tradition draft. Even sitting Wentz all year, there are 3 plug in starters and as many as 2 more contributors year one.... Outstanding draft...
Detroit Lions B+ Steal of the draft, Neal, elevates this effort a couple notches. Billings and Perkins are two very solid picks. Not much OL help here.

Green Bay Packers A- Solid 5 top picks here and great D-side focus. Drake brings RB abilities the Pack haven't seen in a while.

Minnesota Vikings D Conklin does not project well at OT, so he's a pricey OG. Miller is a project; Jones a tweener
NFC SOUTH
Atlanta Falcons For a five pick effort... not bad... Even if I say so myself.

Carolina Panthers C Good thing I love WJ3... he's the only potential starter in the lot. Failed to help OL. Barely helped WR. Punter and a QB late???

New Orleans Saints C Love Rankins. Clark may help inside, but they needed an OT. Rest was casting a net...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers A Killer first four for a building team. All four will make significant contributions year one.
NFC EAST
Dallas Cowboys A Great strength in the middle with sleeper-ish back-end. Love Buckner, but not sure of fit. Howard-Miller-Carson all should surprise up.

New York Giants D+ Ioannidis saved the day with his sleeper potential. Only pick which may exceed expectations. Picks 1-5 all feature more downside than upside.

Philadelphia Eagles A- Pretty solid throughout... even the kicker. Look for Glasgow and Cajuste to surprise.

Washington Redskins B+ Solid top with explosive potential late. Morgan Burns could be a return phenom...
NFC WEST
Arizona Cardinals D Lots of questions (motor, size, skills) and not much help

LA Rams B+ Middle four are solid topped by a project QB. Stole who many consider the best WR in the draft.

San Francisco 49rs A+ Couple of questions in the middle, but otherwise solid. Don't be surprised if Shell moves inside... and Kirkland outside. Goff-Bullard-Brothers-Lawler might all start game 1. Ervin could be scary catching-and-running in Chip's offense.

Seattle Seahawks A- This looks like a SEA draft. Perfect landing spot for Nkendiche. Nice OL pieces. Couple of skill players with potential.

Tour I have another quest for you ......this should be fun.....

Browns have 10 picks ......take a pick from each teams selection in that round to cover all the picks..... like 1 pick from any 1st rounder taken, 1 from any 2nd rounder taken etc ....in the 5th you can select 3 players from that round as we have 3 picks etc etc ....should be interesting.

Happy to oblige...

1. JARED GOFF - QB - CALIFORNIA

2. NICK MARTIN - C - NOTRE DAME

3. KAMALEI CORREA - LB - BOISE ST

4a. SCOOBY WRIGHT III - ILB - ARIZONA

4b. JONATHAN WILLIAMS - RB - ARKANSAS

5a. JASON FANAIKA - DE - UTAH

5b. JOE DAHL - OG - WASHINGTON STATE

5c. CHARONE PEAKE - WR - CLEMSON

6. KEANU NEAL - S - FLORIDA

7. AVERY YOUNG - OT - AUBURN

Was not as easy as I initially thought it would be... a fair amount of looping back up making revisions in the middle rounds.

No Bell, knocked out both Ben and Brown to even claw back in the game. I'm pretty sure it's still the Steelers division unless they blow the draft and the bungles knock it out of the park. Feel free to respond but I'm not going to fill this thread with ridiculous back and forth.

The Bengals have won it like 3 of the last 4 years. Steelers won it once.

This draft will be all but irrelevent to the outcome of the AFCN this season.

Easily between you and Cinci. Both have holes to fill. Your TE pickup was big. If draft between the two of you approaches what you did in our Mock, then I think you have the edge... but real draft to come.

Does help you that we took Cinci's OC.

Yes really close. What's up with my D grade for Az? Lol in my defense my first pick was before the Chandler trade with the Pats. After that I knew I had to get a C down the line and the Brissett pick was atrocious ...should've grabbed Hogan.
