Tour2ma
The test is what you would have offered for the trade up from #2 to #1... Rams receive from Titans:3000 - 1st round pick (1 overall) 68 - 4th round pick (113) 20 - 6th round pick (177) 3088 Total Titans receive from Rams:1050 - 1st round pick (15 overall) 470 - 2nd round pick (43) 450 - 2nd round pick (45) 210 - 3rd round pick (76) 490 - 1st round pick in 2017 (estimated 10th overall devalued by one round) 225 - 3rd round pick in 2017(estimated 42nd overall devalued by one round) 2895 Total Browns offer(?) 2600 - #2 Overall 205 - 3rd round pick (77) 100 - 4th round pick (100) 2905 Total ---> We ask for their 6th (#193 - 13.8 points) as well. Of course YDVCMV*... Not a lot to me to pull the trigger for my QB. Still allows TN to do a Philly type trade. I do it! What say you? At this price I have to feel either our FO was not as hot for (ahem) one of these QBs as being reported or analytics' bias towards mass picks ruled. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Your Draft Value Chart May Vary
calfoxwc
Faced with the deal they got.... except the Eagles had no 2nd round pick... I would have made the trade, but I really want Wentz to fall to eight..lol except they will probably trade down again with the Browns. An extra second round pick in this draft would be outstanding. D Bone
I'm glad we traded back..... Even if we were at 1, I'm glad we traded back.
gumby73
Still don't see how Hue got here & sure the hell had never thought RG3 would follow. Don't wake me till Philly game.. What 2 QB's, never heard of them? It was Goff or nothing. Not a big fan of dink & dunk in Lynch nor Wentz
hoorta
Tour, probably a good idea we stayed put at #2. Our #32 would have done it- And with 20\20 hindsight- the Titans still would have gotten the Eagles bonanza. Not sure I would have taken the Eagles haul to move down to #8- still would have taken the QB the Rams didn't. If we hit on those bonus picks, Sashi will look like a genius. If Goff\Wentz turn into multiple Pro Bowlers- he'll look like a dunce- unless we hit on around 3 three of the extra picks. To refresh everyone's memory (courtesy of Terry Pluto) - Julio Jones = Phil Taylor, Brandon Wee-Done, Greg Little, and Owen Marecic. Frankly, we're the Browns- will history repeat itself yet again? One Post
Vortacider. He's simply examining the two top qb's without worry. It's like watching an ex marry some other fool.
Tour2ma
In other words, what you re saying is.................. after blasting me for saying Goff holds on to the ball too fucking long, and Wentz is just plain limp (Like McCoy) the Browns agree with me, and you are scratching your balls trying to figure out how I knew these 2 QBs were not worth a good shit? Again, IF the Browns decide to go QB, Lynch at 8 would be the steal of the draft. Not quite... BION you weren't part of my thought process. What I asked (and no one has yet answered directly... although h came close) is whether you like the QB you like well enough to have traded our #2, 77 and 100 to be sure we got him. Tour, probably a good idea we stayed put at #2. Our #32 would have done it- And with 20\20 hindsight- the Titans still would have gotten the Eagles bonanza. Our #32 (valued at 590 points on "the chart") would have exceeded the value the Rams gave up by nearly 200... so not quite apples to apples. One Post
One imporntant thing about a first round pick no one has mentioned... It grants a fifth year option as opposed to just a four year contract rookies get. So... If you were to land Lynch in the first round it sits well if he doesn't start right away or if he stinks it up cut him loose.

I heard on the radio this morning that Hue Jackson just very well may be thinking like that.....or maybe doing another trade down to get him a bit later. After all the scouting/interviewing, apparently Hue thought that Lynch was his #1 guy..
