The visit follows Curry's private workout about a week ago with Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, Ross said. "It went really well,'' said Ross. Curry (6-1 1/2, 250) is one of a handful of players the Browns are considering with the No. 5 overall pick. Problem is, Curry is so good that he'll probably be gone by the time the Browns are on the clock in the April 25 draft. There has been talk the Lions could take him first overall, but he probably won't make it past the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 3.

Curry, who played strongside linebacker in a 4-3 scheme, can play either inside or outside in the Browns 3-4 front. He said at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis in February that he'd love to play alongside D'Qwell Jackson, whom he watched at Maryland.

Curry joins other big-name prospects who will visit the Browns next week, including Texas defensive end/linebacker Brian Orakpo, Baylor offensive tackle Jason Smith, USC linebacker Clay Matthews and Rey Maualuga, and Missouri receiver Jeremy Maclin.
